Can the USB-C port be used for charging? Also, can the USB-C port transmit video?

The Costco one is a 14" laptop compared to this 15.6" Target laptop. Also the Costo one is 10 dollars more.

no power delivery via type-c
Aside from the screens that is what always kills these laptops for me. I guess the cost of adding USB C charging to the motherboard on these is too expensive for these models. 🤷 ♂️ It kills the benefit of having the low power internals when you still always need the bulky barrel charger to recharge it.

1 slot free and 1 slot with 8GB DDR 4 most likely.

Edit: Here is the specs on the slots.
https://www.memorystock.com/memor...035tg.html
Two slots one free one with 8GB 2666 DDR4.

At first glance, below is the difference

Target deal (this one) has 1125G4
Walmart deal (on 11/10) has 1115G4

https://versus.com/en/intel-core-...-i3-1125g4

Depends on personal requirement, what may fit better vs price.
Target deal, backlit keyboard if that matters

Yup, that is all this laptop is good for - basic work, email, and web browsing. Anything else is just too high of an expectation
I wouldn't recommend it for even moderate gamers but your comment is misleading. This chip can do video editing as well.

Just picked this up from Target. Needed a laptop for a last-minute trip. I'll see how this performs over the next few days and decide if I want to keep it. Just needing something to check emails, watch movies on a plan and typing up basic Word docs.

Thanks. I am heading to pick this up as well. Could you please confirm if this has a back lit keyboard. Thanks

Target deal has 4 cores vs 2 most people like that better.

Solid deal

Personally though, I would rather wait for this Lenovo [walmart.com] to go back down to $399, which will likely be this November. You get a Ryzen 5500u CPU which benchmarks about 30% better than this one, and AMD Vega 7 onboard graphics.

When HP slaps the 5500u and Vega 7 in this laptop its $450 [walmart.com]

Lenovo has much better build quality too. Still, this is a good deal for what it is.

FHD (1920 x 1080), IPS, micro-edge, anti-glare, 250 nits, 45% NTSC

Probably the same panel with washed out colors that everyone complains about on every HP deal $500 or less using a display with these specs.

That, and the stupid silver keyboards nobody should have ever made. Need to force the execs of these laptop companies to use their own products for a few days before releasing them.
And most important: Does it have PWM? And frequency?
