Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Note: they mention they can even remotely disable your device (!!!) if they feel you haven't kept up your end of the deal with a proper trade-in.

Sorry, just kidding. I'm like an Apple anti-fanboi.
I also had a CS tell me via chat that any LG tablet was eligible. I'm also trading in a T-Mobile tablet from about 5 years ago.
Of course, all the CS reps may be grossly misinformed, but you'd think Samsung would have caught on to this problem by now. I know it's only been about 18 hours or so, but Samsung is a huge organization.

The return period is only 15 days but it takes way longer for them to process the trade-in. By the time they make a decision on the trade-in, the item you bought would be out of the return window and we have to shell out full price.
