FYI: the following was based upon my failure to recognize this was a Chromebook. See my post here for notes on this somewhat uniquely positioned premium Chromebook. TLDR: running ChromeOS doesn't necessarily make this a better deal, but does make it one of very few options for a Chromebook shopper with these specific options on their shopping list.
This would have been a real Slickdeal with a quad core CPU. As it stands, this is really the right price as it represents a $100-ish discount on comparable, refurbished 2-in-1 laptops which do have quad core CPUs (check Micro Center).
Good luck!

This is a powerful Chromebook. This is also a $400 Chromebook. You like it and I'm more in the pretty good but maybe not for everybody(?) camp. I don't think that puts us on opposite sides. I don't consider you a competitor, but rather assume that we're all working together to evaluate and promote the best deals (and maybe tamp down some of the more obnoxious shilled deals?).
At the same time, I have found some of your posts less than pleasant. With so many posts and a nice Pro flag on your profile, might I ask that if along with the volume of posts you're contributing to the community you also consider what you're doing to foster the same level of participation and engagement among the other community members?
Good luck!
Jon

This is a totally false statement. Both are budget /value all I3's are. There is simply no such distinction between the two. Compare these two reviews.

They are just made for two different purposes. The 1115 for the vast majority of apps that still run best single threaded. The 11125 that will run multi core apps better but worse with single threaded apps.
There is a huge difference in the speed of the processors the 1115 is far faster as it only supports two cores thus to keep at 28 watts or less is easier. To run the 11125 faster would need more watts.
"This would have been a real Slickdeal with a quad core CPU."
This to is flat out false. It is still a Slickdeal. There will always be better CPU's in the future. Most of the time some people will wish for a different one. But unless you note a better deal it is a Slickdeal. You just say Oh I hate two cores. You just show ignorance in so saying. You never prove your position.
Like people were saying the 3000 series Ryzen were not great without pointing out 4 or 5000 ones. Now they are out so now all agree 3000 series is not good. When the Gen 12 comes out most likely no one will promote Gen 11 processors.
You are absolutely correct in the future more and more apps will be able to use multi cores or more apps will run together to use them. But for the time being for most apps this is faster than the 11125. I doubt I will keep this for three years.

Thanks!
I imagine next year the norm will start to become 8GB of DDR so the price will go down. Time will tell.

Truthfully, all you need is a very fast 2c/4t like this. 57,000+ Octane. Those two cores have a high base speed and can high turbo boost a good portion of time, subject to the normal constraints. If I recall correctly the m1 was 62,000 at release. They don't say Xe, but they're the same but lesser in number.
Been looking for 8GB DDR, NVME and I3. This has all of that and HDMI 2.0
I may finally get my 55" TV to run 4k @ 60hz.
It is 4.3 pounds and rather thick but I can live with that. Mostly it will stand on a stand.
