However I wouldn't use it when a normal wrench fits, because it rounds off the screw head easily.

However, I would love to see a vise grip style with thin jaws like this. It would save me quite a bit of time on stuck collets.
For locking pliers, definitely check out Grip On. They don't make exactly what you're describing, but their needle nose locking pliers usually do the trick. Also made in Spain, and IMHO Grip On is at least as good as vintage, made-ib-the-USA Vise Grip pliers, but with far more diverse offerings.

You're right. I thought these were pieces of crap until I realized that they would be great for bike jam nuts. Perfect for wherever you would need to tighten a bolt between 2 objects.
