The annoying thing about these plugs is they stick out quite a bit from the wall because the cable is pretty thick. I wish it had come with a right angle plug/flat plug,

Not to push the down votes, This is older model. There's a newer model in the same and then another model with dimmer as well.

When I built my house, I bought a lot of Kasa receptacles for various intentions around my house. I looked far and wide at the time for any that would also be rated for exterior purposes. It is important to note that these being non-weather resistant, makes them not rated for exterior purposes in most communities
