Just don't turn on the Multi User experimental feature in settings. In the latest firmware v34, it is now giving you an error when you try to run the same app at the same time on a single account. Even for games that explicitly allow you to do this.

Hope they fix it as for now it has ruined my 4-player Walkabout Mini Golf plans. We're already done it before, but v34 will break it if you turn on that setting, even once, and then turn it off again.

No. You can watch Netflix, Vudu, and Amazon videos. Go on the web. Lots of other things you can do on a computer.

I have an offer to clip the coupon, but it list the same code when you click on the more details so I think it's the same kind of thing. It would not let me put it in "twice"
Does it say "Clip this coupon" ? If so, it sounds like you can then use the promo code at check out to get both to apply. I dont have a coupon to clip tho

For anyone who missed out on the $30 Oculus referral credits (the ones from being referred by an existing Quest 2 users prior to activating your Quest 2), contact Oculus support letting them know that you missed out on it. As some have reported, Oculus support may credit your account with the $30 of store credits that you would have gotten if you had clicked through a referral link before activating your Quest 2.

Wow, super lucky on you. I dont have that offer for the $50 coupon... I do have the oculus50 code of course, but nothing to "clip" on the product page. At that price, this is a hell of a deal and I'd be in... I wish I knew how to reproduce it and get the coupon to pop
There was a new thread created after I posted but seems the deal only lasted about 30 min or so

I have been testing mine out for the last 2 days. I bought the oculus RIFT when it first came out. This is 100x better. I am actually blown away with what you can do. I found ways to get all games for free. I found ways to tweak the settings to give 2048 resolution and 120hz. It is amazing for $200. All without using windows too. Works amazing with a linux app called sidenoder(wink wink).

I dont like that cinemahd app or movieshd app will only play on a small screen. My GO lets me watch on a full screen with oculustv, but it wont work with quest. Not a big deal because i shouldn't be watching anything other than 3dmovies in vr anyway.

I excepted about 5 referral links and never got the $30 but im told it could take awhile for it to show up but do i care. Nope.

First game i tried is franks plank. I feel like ironman or superman. Child hood dreams re imagined. I bought abunch of games from my oculus account when i owned the RIFT and was about to redownload them noproblem. I had to just make another facebook account and give me phone for dev mode, so they are tracking me, but i was the simplest way to get going.

These will be $200 bucks next year I predict.

I just ordered from Amazon and it had a $50 coupon to make it 249. The oculus50 code stacked, so looks like I'll get the 249 price and the 50 digital credit. I took a screenshot of the checkout page where it shows both. Hopefully they honor the digital credit
I caught the same deal. Hope it goes through.

I decided to purchase @ Target not Amazon which was not 100% clear on the credit & where it could be used.

How often do the games go on sale? I wasn't expecting them to cost so much. At least with a referral credit I was able to get one game free.
If you aren't opposed to less than ethical means.... Obtaining all the games you want is not difficult with a bit of research.

Does it involve rooting? I did that for a Nintendo 3dsxl and it was a very involved process. I spent more time doing that and hunting Cia files than playing with the 3ds. Are there bricking risks?

Can the Oculus $50 store credit be stacked with the Costco GC or is it one or the other?

*OK looks like Oculus credit is when you buy thru them.

No rooting involved and as for bricking.... there is no risk of screwing something up, but there is always the possibility Facebook might do something to render the device inoperable (which they've yet to do since it released).
