Although not quite as sweet a deal as the now expired price mistake from a few days ago (this unit + staplers for $129), Home Depot is now offering this unit for $99 without the staplers for those who don't need the latter. Still a pretty good deal IMO given the 3 year warranty (many of the other units have 1 year warranties)

RIDGID introduces the 6 Gal. Electric Pancake Air Compressor. This powerful compressor is perfect for trim and finish work with 150 PSI. Work with multiple people on the job site with dual universal quick connectors and use 2 nailers at once. Equipped with a best-in-class oil-free pump for reliable, maintenance-free performance, this compressor has everything you need to get the job done. Backed by the RIDGID 3-Year Manufacturer's Warranty, this compressor includes an electric cord and an operator's manual.
Locking regulator holds knob in place to prevent unwanted pressure changes
1/4-turn ball valve tank drain lets you drain tank quickly with 1 easy turn
2 universal push-to-connect quick couplers accept both 1/4 in. automotive and industrial plugs with easy, single-handed connection
Large 6 Gal. capacity tank reduces cycle frequency
150 maximum PSI for the toughest applications
2.6 SCFM at 90 PSI for high air delivery and maximum performance
Universal motor ensures superior starting in low voltage situations
Best-in-class oil-free pump for long-lasting, maintenance-free use
3-year manufacturer's warranty
Includes: (1) OF60150HB 6 Gal. Pancake Air Compressor with Power Cord and operator's manuals

This is a decent deal, matching the Direct Tools price but with no shipping charge.

Unfortunately, the thumbs downs will be coming from people not based on the merits of the deal itself, but because they have deal alerts set overly broad and are upset that they spent 10 seconds of their valuable time to click on a deal and determine that it wasn't for them.

You're better off setting alerts for brands or categories that you actually want, instead of all price mistakes. That way everyone isn't complaining everytime somebody uses the word "mistake".

This may be for a pancake air compressor but its thread rating sure is waffling.

I read it thank you, the alert went off signaling that this is a price mistake and it isn't. Any other questions?
Your alert went off for the phrase "price mistake", you misinterpreted the use of the phrase in this post as a signaling of an actual price mistake. If you had read the post you never would have had to post your original question. Now to be clear I'm a fan of price mistakes myself but I never get upset if someone includes the phrase in their posting, I don't downvote it, I don't post chastising comments. Why would I? Who cares if I get one more notification from Slickdeals? Hell, some of the non price mistake posts were actually something I was interested in, and if not I just move on. I'll never understand you guys that get upset about it, just read the post and decide if it's something you're going to pursue, takes less than a minute of your time. As a Slickdealer you need to accept that having a Deal Alert for "Price Mistake" means dealing with some non price mistake posts, so learn to take the good with the bad and move on.

Or bc it's a decent deal, not a price mistake
No, this is not a price mistake and was never claimed to be.

You are misinterpreting your alert which you have apparently set for any time the words "price" and "mistake" are used in a deal post, whether or not the deal actually is a price mistake.

If you want to reduce your false alarms, set your alert to title only. Then you won't get hits for when those words appear in the OPs description.

I just submitted a post on the suggestions forum for slick deals to create a specific category for price mistakes or errors. That way people can set their alerts for that category instead of keywords from general descriptions being triggered. I hope some of you go over there to comment and help get their attention. That way deals don't get unfairly rated and it also helps people get proper notifications.

I vote every single deal posted use "price mistake". Generally only resellers use that search to make money, that would help chase them off the site. I mean it's Slickdeals, not payyourentdeals.
