I like my Pixel 6, got it with the free buds offer at launch. Most of this phone is great, but some things suck.

The fingerprint reader is balls. Even with the recent fix, it still fails to read my thumb semi-regularly. It's better than it was at launch but that's not saying a lot.

The battery life is balls. Google Tensor is pretty good as a first effort on a Google/Samsung co-developed SoC but it has all the drawbacks of Exynos hardware combined with all the drawbacks of Google software. One of these drawbacks is that standby battery life is bad.

The signal strength is balls. This phone uses a Samsung Exynos modem instead of a Qualcomm modem. I guess this is one big reason why the phone can be so much cheaper than Apple and Samsung, which both use expensive Qualcomm modems in North America.

Supposedly there is face unlock code in the source, Google just didn't have it in at launch. Because the fingerprint reader sucks, everyone is hoping it will be coming in a feature drop.

Have this phone, love this phone. My experience is a little different than others. I've had a Pixel, a Pixel 3a XL, briefly a 5a, and now this.

First, the fingerprint reader. It's slower than the back-mounted readers of past Pixels. BUT it is reliable and easy to get used to. Sometimes you just have to leave your thumb on a little longer.

Second, battery life is fine. I get to bedtime every day with pretty heavy use at about 20%. That's with a Fitbit Sense syncing, lots of pics/vids, 3-5 hours SOT, and more. If I need to add some juice, it charges rapidly from 0-50 and then from 50-80% a little more slowly. Again, this phone's battery life is fine.

Third, performance is good. It's as fast or faster than iPhone 12, and doesn't feel slower than my wife's 13 Pro, but I assume that's more powerful. Signal strength is also comparable to iPhone and others... Not the best, but good.

All in all, it's a premium, great package @ $600 and great for less than that. As a longtime Pixel user, it's the best Pixel yet.

I literally just updated my pixel 6 and it's 5x faster now and seems to catch my print with no issues. Prior to update, it was horrible. 3+ sec.

edit: after using it for a few days. yes it's better but still crap shoot and kinda buggy

Trash ass best buy. Rather buy at Target
Hilarious.. earlier there was 1 phone available at a target in the next county. Not a available for shipping at all and not this price for another 3 days, thanks for the TD.

edit: I'd rather buy from Google because of how their support acts if you didn't, but I def. don't hold target in high regards, certainly not as high as best buy, my $.02

Best Buy is showing as $499 for pixel 6 128gb unlocked, activate now. Verizon adds a. $35 activation fee (they usually charge $40 anyways if you don't buy the phone through them). Pickup in 7 days.

unlocked is the same price as the upcoming target deal except it is real. Target product availability is unknown, I pulled the trigger on this to ensure I actually get one.

But you will have to activate it with a carrier. The activate later option is $50 off.

You like it more than your s20 Fe?? that's what I have but I can't justify paying more. SD card slot, Samsung pay, Samsung Dex, and 120 hertz screen. I really like the updates for years on the Google but Samsung just packs in so many features.

For those wondering about T-Mobile activation, it's $449 if you add a line but $599 if you upgrade.
