Decent deal for an inexpensive Chromebook. The N3350 is OK but, if you're patient, you'll find good deals on N4000 and N4020 equipped Chromebooks for around the same price.

There's a seller on fleabay with 20 of them at 56.95 each

Same model and listed as new, is it safe to buy?
I saw this. Looking at the listing, I can almost guarantee that there is no way those orders will be filled. The item will never be shipped, the listing will get flagged, and the buyers will have to play the refund request game with eBay.

Can this be used to mine crypto and how long it takes to break even?
You should be able to mine around 10 coinbits a day and be rich by this weekend. Happy Thanksgiving!

Just setup a slickdeals alert for Chromebooks. Recent sales and clearance deals have been great on Chromebooks. I recently grabbed a few brand new Lenovo C340's (N4000) and Lenovo 3's (N4020) for around $80.00 on clearance.
The Lenovo C340 from Walmart with employees telling people
that the Chromebooks aren't in the store or only for Black Friday and
that frustrated so many people here on SD?

Yup, I grabbed all my C340's before it hit Slickdeals so it was pretty easy. I posted a thread about the $85.00 Lenovo 3 on clearance right now but it's not very popular because of no touchscreen. Funny thing is, I prefer my Lenovo 3's because of the better processor, weight and battery life. Been using these cheap 11 1/2" Chromebooks since they came out in 2012 and the Lenovo 3 is one of the best ones I've used.

I think I would rather get the Lenovo ChromeBook Tablet. Much better screen.

You can get the IOXO Chromebook deal for $20 more. You get a quad core Celeron, 1080P panel, and better build quality. Only downside is that it runs Cloudready instead of ChromeOS, so Android apps are not supported. I dual boot mine with W11 and it gets the job done.
How do you find the screen on the IOXO and the processor running windows?

I can't believe they still make HD screens in computing devices. It can't cost them that much more to give me FHD

Reminds me of the crappy netbooks of 2011. I still having one of those around. (I did use it as a primary laptop for a year due to other laptops breaking. Had to go out of my way to slim down Windows 7. But its performance is so shitty I don't know what to do with it since 2014)

BTW NotebookCheck says this CPU competes with Intel Celeron 2955U of Haswell generation. That is a bottom tier CPU from Q3 2013. I know Intel has been sleeping for a while but you should also know software gets more bloated as time goes on.

Just got a chance to mess with this Asus at BB. Really compact and light weight. Scored just over 11000 when I ran Octane which will work just fine for casual browsing, Youtube and mild work loads. Would work fine as a nice dedicated car laptop or couch browser.I keep older Asus 100P's in both my vehicles.

There's no way to hook up an external disc drive to these is there?
A reply in the Q&A says it has a USB 3.0 and two USB-C ports.

Screen is very good for the price. It's IPS and matte finished. The processor is the N3450 which is the old Quad-core Celeron. I'm able to run W11 just fine to do basic things, I bought it to Miracast 1080P video over to my TV which is can handle. In CloudReady it's pretty quick.

Did you pay $79 for it?
At my Walmarts, they limit 2 per customer.

I paid $75.00 for the C340's and $85.00 for the Lenovo 3's. The Walmarts around me also have a limit of 2 but I've had some cool employees let me get more as long as I did separate transactions.
