My current T8+ runs every morning to clean LVP flooring. It has cleaned 151276 sq ft, done 422 cleanings, and has run for 412 hours with very few issues.
The mopping features isn't great though, so recently I purchased the ozmo upgraded mopping attachment and I've been happy with its performance.
Got mine on for this price LY on a SD at BB. Not disappointed in it, don't write home about it. They've been messing with the software causing map issues for me lately too, as someone already pointed out. The brush system is AWFUL with long hair, gotta clean it out after 1 maybe 2 cycles.
It still saves me time overall.
Both worked perfectly fine but time to time and to be honest the only issue I had between both robovacs was that I had connectivity issues sometimes with the T8+
So I kept the Shark AI for several reasons...
- The connectivity issues with the T8+ as stated above
- Shark AI is newly released, the T8+ has been around over a year
- Shark mapped my 2400 square foot home a lot faster that the T8+
- Shark AI self empty bin is bagless so it will save $$ in the long run
- The shark was about $75 or $50 cheaper
I just posted details on the Shark AI on another thread its on sale right now for $375

I was at the threshold of my warranty when I sent it so I doubt they'll do anything but say "it's fine" and send it back, or pretend they never got it. it's a good product in theory and early execution, but bad customer service, product issues, and questionable longevity at best. Lesson learned? Pay another $100-$150 and get a Roomba.
Edit: mopping doesn't doesnt look like it touches the floor nor does it do much, but the floors do feel a little cleaner after.

I m o, s7+ is a clear winner. Like if you agree
Mapping issue with splitting rooms is real but there is a work around. It will also get suck around toilets between the base and wall but easy enough to set a boundary around them
Dumper statio didn't work for me due to a Queensland dog hair issue. Simply too much of it that binds together with dust/dirt and will not clear out. I assume this would work if you didn't have a different issue.
Should I return and take this one?

What he did was vacuum more often so there would be less hair that would get stuck. Would that actually help?

Looks like my whole post didn't go through as I did list the positives. Short version: cleaning tool with storage spot is great, picks up most of the dust, goes from hard surface to carpet well except one tall rug we have, once mapped boundaries/zones are easy to use, no mechanical issues (I do "maintence" more often that it recommends).
Basically none of robots are perfect and the flaws I have with this one are issues id have no matter what.

its still on original filter and main brush. app shows 24% life left on main brush and 7% on filter. side brushes expired but haven't replaced it yet since it seems to be working fine still. oem consumables are $48 on amazon. there are generic ones out there but some reviews complain of tangle errors from the main brush when running on carpet or rug. i bought a set of replacement bags for the empty station from aliexpress.
