I just got the iPhone 12 Mini with Straight Talk at Walmart for $299.99.

The great thing is, the 12 Mini that you get new from Walmart, sits at exactly $290 for the trade in value.
Afterwards, I went to AT&T to give them the 12 Mini brand new in the box and surprisingly, even though I didn't unlock it through straight talk or anything, they accepted it.
I was able to get $1,000 off the Sierra Blue iPhone 13 Pro Max 128gb and paid a downpayment of $188.
$88 was the sales tax and the extra $100 was for an upgrade to the Max model.
They told me the phone gets unlocked after 36 months, and the $27.77 per month will show up on the AT&T bill and automatically pay itself off using the trade-in credit every month.
Final price for the 13 Pro Max came out to be $488. $300 from the 12 Mini, and $188 for the upgrade. If you were to get the regular 13 Pro, it would be $388 total.
If you do get this deal using a current AT&T account, you won't have to pay for a new line, but you will if you don't currently have an AT&T account.

So BILL CREDITS of $1000 over 36 months right? Thanks
I do agree that 36 months is a long time, however, a lot of people tend to upgrade once every 3-4 years now. Modern smartphones also last much longer as well. Staying with a certain carrier won't have much incentives these days, but if people weren't planning to change carriers anyway then this is a good deal.

Its the phone price you pay over 36 months, so if I didn't put $188 down, I would have to pay an extra $5.22 per month which would just be a headache so I put that down.
The $1k you get off using this cyber Monday deal, will be charged at $27.77 per month on the bill, and you won't have to pay that, it'll automatically pay itself off using the $1000 off you got every month.

does it end today?
sorry for all the questions. Just trying to help my aunt out
She said she is on an older plan, 3 lines and pays about $120 after taxes
I had told her to go to tmobile but it seems like tmobile is more with only 3 lines
Btw if I do this deal with 36 months bill credits and the iphone 14 comes out with another bill credit deal how will that work?

This deal is for Black Friday and Cyber Monday according to AT&T so I am assuming it ends today. That's why I was so quick to buy the 12 Mini and drive over to AT&T so early in the morning. If they didn't take it because it was from Straight Talk, I would have returned the Mini, but they did take it so all is good.
Edit:
It says this on the terms,
"If you upgrade or pay up/off the installment agreement on the discounted device early, your credits may cease."
