I have the 64GB version of this and it doesn't sound like a lot of capacity but if you primarily use your phone and this is supplemental then I think 64GB is plenty. This is the best deal I've seen for Vets and Military families on this storage size for the new Air.

I need to upgrade my four year old iPad but really I just mostly play games and occasionally surf. I'm guessing this is way more than I need. What do people really use iPads for?

Thank you for posting!

I actually got the $399 64GB black friday deal already, but I really wanted the larger capacity. Now to decide what to do with the 64GB one.
Yeah, I got the $399 one as well. I'm sticking with it though. I have an 8th gen iPad with 32GB and I haven't used it up. I think 64GB is good for me right now. Larger, faster, better camera, and more space all check the boxes for $399.

People make this joke every thread but the military definitely doesn't need money. Hell, someone couldn't even make the argument that wasting their money will drive up prices like they could for walmart-- the military is a full socialized service. We should be helping each other figure out how to get these deals. There's really no downside.

The reason that AAFES exists is to provide retail options in dangerous places or locations where it might be cost prohibitive for other retailers to operate. A significant amount of any profit AAFES makes goes back to the military community and helps subsidize morale welfare and recreation programs. The organization is setup to be self supporting to the maximum extent possible. So hurting AAFES doesn't lead directly to fewer bullets, instead it leads to less support for military families.

Space Gray was going in and out of stock all day. I would keep checking periodically and you'll probably secure one.

I have been successful in the past with the Coast Guard Exchange price matching AAFES on items that were out of stock.
