Never bought blue tape from amazon, anyone have experience?
...as are most people painting their stuff in their own
This is 360 yes total (60 × 6) for $13.86
Seems like costco is still a better deal.

Without reading through all the comments, the one inch (15/16") is commonly used with a the 3M hand masker [homedepot.com].... and it works very well with a variety of widths of readily available paper and plastic rolls. I think every homeowner should have a hand masker.

Painting tapes, like the old paper masking tapes do have a shelf life. I don't know that there is an expiration date, but the lot number can be correlated with manufacture date that is relevant to how it was stored --- a hot warehouse is going to hasten the expiration of best used by. You do want the most fresh you can buy and that is usually at your local box store in the back of the shelf.
Anytime there is a heavily discounted sale on tapes and caulks, I am always suspect of getting ridding of old stock to make room for new, or someone got a great discounted deal on old stock and shoving to the masses vie Amazon, eBay, etc.
For any width, Frog Tape's extended removal time is really nice. For many applications, like those weekend projects that have to wait until the next weekend for a final coat or the next one after for removal, I think it is worth the extra money. But, back to the issue of old stock being sold via the Internet, or just buy at the local box store.

It is a real pain to get off once it is stuck... lol
The last Frog Tape I bought had a 21 day removal that I would probably not test to the maximum, but like you, I know it is longer than the blue tape. A lot of times I am out of town through the week, or leaving early and back late that leaves the weekends.
PS: Next time, maybe try a heat gun that does help.
