I own this and other Ryobi ONE+ blowers. For blowing dust/leaves/sawdust out your garage, this thing is awesome. Love the variable speed as the low setting actually prevents dust from flying into the air at mach 1,000,000 which you don't actually want.
Pros:
Small size
Three speeds
Cons:
This does NOT have a switch, so there is no way to set it or hang it somewhere (like above your head while working) and have it stay on. You must press the trigger the entire time.
Overall it's a great blower just not designed to move leaves in a yard.
My brother uses it when he's lighting a campfire but he has to use a really light touch on the trigger because you don't want to create a mess or a disaster! normally you would use a hand operated bellows to increase the airflow around the fire so that it would catch faster.
Yup. I love mine for camping. Air Mattresses, blow road dust off before you open the hatch and get a campfire blazing fast.
At home I use it to move dirt from one side of the room to the other and to distribute dust perfectly evenly on all surfaces. The stuff I get in my gutters would laugh at it.
I've been thinking though..FD&C yellow and brown are lighter than red. No reason you couldn't use it to sort M&Ms. Now we need to hatch a scheme to use this and the sprayer simultaneously.
I know a few people that have this and and they use them to get the fire started in their bbq smokers and campfires. Works great for that
X2,
I have the BD 20v comparable and keep it in the camper. Would imagine this is close in specs. It really stokes the campfire and good for blowing debris off roof/slides/picnic table at the campgrounds. It is definately lightweight when it comes to leaf blowers.
I have the 40v Ryobi blower. It works well enough if you hold the turbo button the whole time, which cramps my thumb. But it is enough to get me through fall in a tree dense area.
The 18v just doesn't have the power for leaves. Cleaning sawdust from a work area, dry leaves off a hard surface like a concrete driveway would work too, but realistically it just won't be enough power
Will this do okay for car detailing/drying? I keep a nice coat of wax on my cars usually, but I've been looking for a blower to make drying a bit easier/quicker and just bead the water off the car.
That's what I want to know. Says nothing on the page.
Further research shows it does NOT come with a battery. If you scroll through their blowers there is a little battery symbol for those that come with a battery and no symbol for those without.
Not such a good deal when it costs you another $30+ for a battery and even more for a charger, too

Have you looked up on YouTube about that problem? i know the inflator they sell won't work on the big batteries only the small ones.
