Seems to be standard price these days but heck of a computer. Just be prepared to use an external hd in this config.

Preempting the usual chatter: 8GB RAM is more than enough for common usage.

Keep in mind varying on the state there are exclusions. For example here in Ohio I'm pretty sure it's only on clothing and school supplies.

I got this 8GB/512GB from Costco, I think these 8GB SoC is like 16GB on Intel Mac.

look like same deal as Costco (different color), so then the big difference is if we buy from Costco and pay with Costco Visa card, we get 4 years warranty?

8gb for an M1 on a Mac is different than 8gb for windows and an intel or AND chip…

Yeah it was frontpage at $800, changed it to $799 :-)

FYI if you "want a fanless Mac this is it" new Air with new body I guarantee will have a fan :-/ care to bet?
