I set a lot of monitors up for folks and you may find the text on 4K, even at 32 inches is too small for spreadsheets. I would look at both resolutions in person at someplace like Best Buy before deciding. This is double HD which makes larger text than 4K...
I got one of these from Costco about 2 weeks ago.

I really like it, but I did have some problems due to the lack of DisplayPort.

Freesync ONLY works over HDMI IF you have an AMD GPU.

So, if you have an Nvidia GPU, like me, then you won't be able to use freesync at all. I was using an HDMI to Displayport adapter, and could not get HDR to work either.

So then I took it to work, and I absolutely love it at the office. The picture is great, its just too bad I couldn't make any of the gaming features work.

But I've got to say: I just saw what adaptive sync can do recently, and I think I'm going to need it on my gaming monitor going forward.
No sorry, just for light gaming.

Just yesterday it was only $30 off. I actually bought one at full price ($250) a couple of months ago for work and I like it allot. I'm not using it for gaming so the 75Hz refresh rate is not an issue and the size/resolution (e.g., pixel density) seems equivalent to what you would get in a 24" HD monitor.

I do not game and want something for work, well spreadsheets and other documents mainly (pdf etc). Don't know what prompted me but I picked up 2 32" LG 4K monitors from sams for $269 a piece for BF. It's still in the box, haven't opened it. It has great reviews but now I am reconsidering my decision of buying it. Not sure if I should use it or swap it out for something like this and save $140.

Okay. Thanks for your input I might try out Best Buy or something first. Also, do you think VA vs IPS matter if it's just for work?

That's interesting, I also just purchased this screen last week for docking my new xps 15 with the Nvidia 3050ti. The screen works fine and shows 60hz but the colors are so dull next to the oled.

I want to buy this for work. I currently use a 24" monitor and I'm about 2 feet away from it. I'm wondering if the short distance is going to make this 32" monitor too big or too close. Anyone use this at such a close distance?

If you need this in 4k + DisplayPort: BestBuy has it for $299. The 4k version also uses VA panel vs IPS on this version.
Both great monitors.
