I'm getting mixed messages on that too. Did BB or t-mobile say that? I've talked with a bunch of useless reps today, but all the tmobile rep said was that they had no contracts and gave instructions to unlock. Can you try cancelling t-mobile and update us? Pretty bold of them to sell it as "unlocked' but require you to be tied down to a carrier for a period to get the lower pricing.

I got the same S20+ deal you did. Mine is totally pristine. Someone else on here just told me our S20+ is superior to S21 Ultra. Before I got my S20, I wanted the Samsung flip phone but I think we got more phone for less money and w/o any hassles trying to cancel carrier service since our phones were already unlocked and no activation required.
Totally agreed 👍 Happy with s20 + 5G unlocked without any hassle 😀

I just did this deal on Saturday, but they didn't mention they took trade-ins. Any idea what a what a Pixel 4a 5G would be worth in trade?

No hassles and cheaper as well. When I saw the deal at 2 am in the morning, I jumped all over it plus 2 year warranty.

I still remember how I ordered s20 + as well. Saw the deal at 1 am and could resist myself towards that deal and finally ordered at 3AM since it was the last S series with sd card and as you mentioned 2 years warranty. And 1 more thing was it was just around 430$ after paypal 5% cb which is way cheaper for a flagship phone from Samsung and Trade in value is still more than what we actually paid 😊 Also, ordered the SANDDISK 400 Gb sd card for 17$ couple of days back but not sure if Adorama will ship it 🤔

This or Pixel 6 Pro? The pixel seems superior in every way except for Zoom?

Damn need at least the 512GB version. The 256GB version is $849 and is a no-brainer $50 price increase for much more usable space for non-upgradeable storage phone for those looking to get the S21 Ultra.
Back on S10 they were giving 512GB away as a free upgrade.
Years later they're hard to come by. Chip shortage.

The BB rep said, even though you pick up an unlocked phone but if you insert the SIM (that came with your line activation in the purchase) it will be locked for 40+ days for T-mobile (I don't know about other carriers). One way to avoid is ask the BB Rep not to insert the SIM and when you get out of the store, insert any other carriers SIM for the very first time.

Disclaimer: I haven't done this so don't hold me on the above statement, I just quoting what BB rep said.
I tried doing the same for a pixel 6 but even after using my cricket sim first it said to network unlock use the received sim with it and try unlock from the app .Will try the Samsung phone tomorrow after upgrading the line whether it is really unlocked or will get locked for 40 days as per Tmobile terms.

Needs activation. New line required for AT&T, upgrade for the rest.

I think you are right, but the one problem I remember
Is if u stick in a tmobile Sim, the phone loads up tmobile firmware and it becomes tmobile phone. With the boot up showing tmobile and the apps are tmobile. This happened to me when. I did it for my notes plus a couple years ago.
