Was looking for a solution so I don't have to use google voice for checking texts on a second number .. this plan is great as I can make use of the dual sim feature of the phone and check everything under messages/voicemail

Which phone offers dual sim calling and texting?
Phones support esim and physical sim. And red pocket will support esim soon.

What do people use these plans for? Communicating with their mistress?
With their hoes and their pimps. 😁

Anyone know if this will work while overseas with WiFi calling?
Good alternative for Wi-Fi calling would be Google Voice

I still have a free 250/250 Freeup plan going. Surprised they haven't canceled them yet.
Anyone else still offering such plans

Can anyone with this plan confirm that you continue to get 2G data after you've exhausted your 200 megabytes of high-speed data? I noticed that the red pocket website clearly says that you can continue to get 2G data after you've exhausted your high speed and it appears to apply for this plan as well. Would love to have confirmation of this. Thanks in advance

I think the lower tiered plans are hard capped.
*Unlimited 2G seems to start with the 3GB plan.

No for $30 annual plan. But if you have monthly plans, then you will get 2G data

For $10 more isn't the $40 Tracfone a better deal with 3gb of data?
If you want to be at the liberty of their new owner Verizon Wireless, whom could at anytime discontinue current plans or shutdown service…

you'll find that folks live in the suburbs and can't be parasites and impose off friends/neighbors forever. professionals have a go-bag with a spare (handy if you need the primary to hotspot and you don't happen to be doing business out of an internet cafe)

phones get lost/stolen/run out of juice - better to have and not need, than to need and not have.

Haven't been with any type of Verizon service for years. Can I move a Redpocket sim around from phone to phone without having to jump through any hoops? Of course the phones would be unlocked and have the proper bands for Verizon.
