Do you game? If you don't, this isn't for you.
I got the white one a month ago for $138. The battery life is excellent and it is extremely responsive as a wireless mouse as compared to my G900. It is also extremely light, to the point where sometimes it's hard to control as I've been used to moving around mice with a bit more weight for 30ish years. So, I'm adjusting. Would I recommend it? Maybe. I'm still deciding. It's better than the G900 for sure. I like the form factor a lot more for my big hands vs the G900. The only thing that the G900 wins at is it being side button customizable and infinity scroll (I miss the scroll). But, you can't have everything for this kind of weight.

Is any mouse really worth more than $50? Probably not. This is a luxury buy. An average computer user should stay far far away from this device. This is for people who are hard core into playing games and that's it.

What is the best mouse to buy if you are a non-gamer and do not care how much it cost?
Even if you dont game, a gaming mouse could suit your needs. Really depends on your mouse grip and hand size.
If you want to go crazy then go Final mouse.

Please don't tell me that price is freaking real for what you get, smh... Guess I'll still stick to my MX Master 2S, thank you very much.

Quick test to see if this is for you:

* Do you have a 144hz+ monitor? If no this is not for you.
* Do you have a full sized keyboard? If you do, this is probably not for you unless you have super wide shoulders.
* Do you know any of these games: Valorant, CSGO, Apex Legends? If no this is not for you.
* Do you have, or is willing to also buy a decent mousepad? If no this is not for you.
* Do all of the above apply but you have small hands? Look at the G305 or Orochi v2 instead.

If you still want a serious FPS gamer mouse, look at the G305 as a lower-tier budget option.

At first glance the slickdeals excitement over this mouse on sale for $120 seems like the pinnacle of inflation. Must be a great mouse. Seems like logitech like everyone else is giving us less and charging us more lately.

Awesome. Thank you for the insight! Is there any latency issues vs wired? I play a lot of fps. Not sure if it's worth the upgrade if my G9X is still working fine though.
Zero. Like none at all. I've played FPS where I'd see if there were any issues for sure and havent experienced any. The technology to keep it stable is old by now so even a cheap mouse shouldnt have latency issues these days. I went from wired too and was very concerned about many things.. I see why pro gamers use them (wireless) now. Not having the cord is very nice.

Thanks! I would definitely get this. But I think since my G9x is still working great, I'll hold off until it actually dies.

Hold up - according to many users here, "eVeRy LoGiTeCh MoUsE gEtS tHe DoUbLe cLiCk iSsUe"? So this one is built differently??
Logitech uses different mouse switches in their different models, some with higher lifetime ratings (20 million clicks) and some with very low ratings (10 million clicks). There are some mouse switches rated for 80 million clicks--as far as I know, Logitech doesn't use these in any of their mice.

It seems that none of the mice actually hit those numbers (i.e. the ratings are inflated across the board), AND the ones rated for 10 million clicks tend to fail extremely quickly (within months) while the ones rated for 20 million clicks tend to fail somewhat soon (within a couple of years).

The Pro X Superlight apparently has switches rated for 20 million clicks according to reddit users who have opened it up. And given my own experiences with the G603 that also has switches rated for 20 million clicks plus reports from other reddit users, I would expect that the Pro X Superlight's switches will fail after 1 or 2 years of use.

What if you have a 240 hz monitor, have a full sized keyboard because you're an Excel master, play Quake 3 Arena, Counter-Strike 1.6 and Unreal Tournament 3 and don't like dinky mice?

For those games I recommend a Microsoft Intellimouse. It's overkill to use this to frag a bunch of boomers with CRT monitors.
