Have been waiting on this deal. Best offer outside of buying a Fire Kids Edition that comes with a free year.
My kids use this on trips, as most games can be played offline once downloaded. Prime membership not required.

Dont think the 1 yr plan has the free 1 month trial. only the monthly plan has the 1st month free trial.

Does Amazon Kids+ have good shows that are not free via Amazon Prime Video? Best games?
I'm not seeing how to browse the content without signing up.

It's really good for apps & games. We discourage our kids to watch shows on it. We had kids+, let it expire, and went back because it makes the experience really good for our 6 & 4 year old.
