My Amp is in my house and I ran speaker cable down to my pool. even at 200' of wire the system does its job. And yes it connects to whatever streaming service you use. I put an old alexa down by the pool and made the sonos amp the audio so I can just say "Alexa, play music and we have sound down by the pool.
Sonos amp retails at $700 on it's own.

Just Food for thought. Do the research on the speakers. I was going to utilize these speakers for outside use while placing the amp inside since I have Sonos throughout my home. I found a higher quality speaker with better outdoor rating and a better price even when paired with the Sonos amp. I'm not naysaying this deal by any means just possibly be mindful of where you place them outdoors.
Which high quality speaker are you talking about?

What pair of quality outdoor speakers did you find for less then $100? Amp is $700 by itself.

I may be asking for too much here, but any idea if if this is just one box with all of the items and if you returned something you'd have to return everything? Or is it individual items and there's a chance that the speakers could be returned keeping just the AMP at a discounted price?
Silly question!

Anyone who owns these speakers already, is there any concern placing them in direct rain / snow? I saw they are IP66 but just wanted to check from personal experience. I don't have a covered area in the backyard. Plan to angle downward slightly to allow rain to run off.

Feedback: The amp is great, does what it's supposed to, but the volume slider can be a bit off. Like, The first 75% of the slider is probably 25% of the sound, the last 25% of the slider makes the sound go much louder. I ended up selling my amps and getting an actual amp, coupled with Sonos ports & connects. I have an old model of the sonos amp as well (sonos connect amp/zone player) and can say that though the amperage of the new amp is higher, I don't notice a huge difference. That said, most of the old amps aren't compatible with S2, whereas the new amp is compatible with both S1 & S2. Note that if you're on S1, you can't use dual mono, only stereo sound, so if your speakers are far apart, you will not get full sound out of one or the other at times, dependent on what you're listening to.

Speakers have great sound and mine have survivied 3 years in rough Denver winters without issue, but the grills fall off all the time. Not a big deal for me, but may be for others.

I have 2 of them completely unprotected. One of them had the grill fall off and some water got on the speaker wire and the wire oxidized/turned green. I had to do a bit of re-wiring. So yeah, expect a little bit of leakage, not much, but a bit.

Feels like I just slid into Home Plate. Perfect timing, I just bought Klipsch Rock speakers and an Amp for the pool but I still needed something for the patio.

My neighbors have this amp and speakers. They were able to run three pairs of speakers with one amp. Anyone else do this? I bought three of these sets and may just try to eBay the extra two amps.

Hello, I need amp only. Pls dm me if you are willing to sell amp.

It seems like the speaker wire goes inside the speaker from the back and supposed to be connected to the speaker terminals in the front of the speaker.

Important to consider as some may have very short speaker wire coming out of the wall. I have a very small bare speaker wires out of the wall.
Yes, this is very important. Just moved into my house last year and they have outdoor speakers over the pool already, but I would love to upgrade. However, like you said, the wires coming out are short and probably wouldn't be long enough to go through the new speakers. Is splicing at all possible without distorting the audio quality? Or would I really have to pay someone to re-pull wires that are 3 inches longer?

According to this article 3 sets of sonance speakers can be wired in parallel with the amp - https://www.techhive.com/article/...eview.html

I'm using the Amp with a pair of Polk Atrium 8 SDI for my backyard patio. The frequency response of the Atriums are 45Hz - 27kHz, meaning they have better bass response than these.

If you like some punch to your sound, then you definitely will need to get an outdoor sub to supplement the speakers. My Atriums were too light on bass for my taste and I got an outdoor sub (look into Outdoor Speaker Depot or Parts Express) - big difference. You will need another amp to power the sub as most outdoor subs are passive.
