A good deal indeed on the 6.0 Ah HP batteries, but as BrightGorilla113 noted, they've been this price for a while, or at least were for a while around the holidays.

As for the 4.0 Ah non-HP 2-pack, the only thing special about the current $198 Special Buy pricing is that someone is off their rocker. They had been selling for $79 for quite some time, often including the free electrostatic sprayer. MSRP on those is nowhere near $198. Heck, the 8-pack of those 4.0 Ah non-HP batteries [homedepot.com] is currently selling for $309. And the 4.0 Ah HP 2-pack had been selling for $99, consistent with this pricing on the 6.0 Ah HP 2-pack.

I have the normal (non HP) 4ah batteries and chargers. Can I use the same chargers for the 6ah HP batteries?

Some of the holiday battery deals had the free electrostatic sprayer too. They must have finally depleted their stock of those things.

Yes I charge both nonHP and HP with same charger. Just HP battery supposed to perform better when use with HP rated tools.

Any deals on a charger? How do you guys feel on third party chargers for these types of batteries? (I just bought a ryobi spreader and need a battery for it. My other tools are Milwaukee, but they don't have a spreader)
I'd never use a 3rd party charger, especially when there are a ton of people who likely have multiple chargers. I bought my Dewalt tools earlier this year and the different deals collected me 3 different chargers that I didn't need.

Look on FB Marketplace or something local for people getting rid of extra chargers.

Are they still actively manufacturing/selling the 9Ah batteries? I never see them in store

I also bought two when they were B1G1 Free at $99 a few years back, but to be honest I feel like they don't have the highest qualify of cells. They discharge when stored faster than some of my other batteries (3Ah/4Ah) I received around the same time.

There's your problem, plutonium. Iron-56 or nickel-62 are more readily available if you switch to fusion. Now there are issues with containment and heat. Up to 100,000,000 degrees Celsius!

How do you manage to get $10/Ahr? Closest I've been able to find was ebay, but it was still around $15. (Looking specifically for 2.0 Ah HP packs)
Quote from tsglenn :
Gnomatic's wording indicates that $10/Ah was for non-HP.

Well, this deal is $11.67/Ahr. So pretty close. I just keep an eye out for deals, or at least try to. Last spring, for instance, I picked up a 2-pack of 4Ah regular Ryobi batteries w/ charger, and got a free 2Ah HP with the kit. All for $100. Total of 10Ah between the three packs.

Right now you can grab a 6 pack of regular non HP compact 2Ah batteries + charger for $130. Not sure you need that many, and I know they're not the HP version, but here it is .....

Good luck!
9.0 Ah HP go on sale for $179 (2-pack).

I bought a set, but returned them in Fall 2020.
At the time, I didn't really have a use case, and I don't know if I want to get stuck with a 9.0Ah dead Ryobi battery.

However, I have a use case now to convert the 18v to 12v to power a 12v CPAP.

Plutonium is so 1985.
Today, it's Thorium.

As for $50, that price is long gone except for clearance.
2020 and 2021 saw the 9.0 Ah at $170 and $179, respectively, for the 2-pack.
supergrover is crazy out of touch.

As far as I'm aware, the only pack Ryobi released using 21700 is the 3Ah P195, released a couple years ago. They are using/used Samsung cells in that item.

They are tough to find these days.
