You need to update your knowledge a bit. Do yourself a favor instead of threadcrapping, Google TigerLake.
What are you getting on about he asked about another LAPTOP that's not even in this thread! So how did I thread Crap? Also 12th Gen INTEL CPU's are now starting to be good again and 11the Gen were pure Cash Grab Crap. You go look it up!

May be you need to read the whole discussion again. He did not ask for any laptops but claiming 11th Intel Laptop Processors are crap compared to Ryzen 5000 series and tried to give example of Desktop 11th Gen Processors. Bought this and upgraded the storage to a 4TB primary M.2 nvme drive as well as a 8TB Samsung 870 QVO drive for slower storage. Bargain machine for the specs as a portable workhorse editing rig.
For those who want to go to 32gb, this laptop doesn't support XMP. Therefore, the "Kingston FURY Impact 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz DDR4 CL20 Laptop Memory Kit of 2 KF432S20IBK2/32, Black" is the way to go as it operates @ 3200mhz CL20 @ 1.2v with no XMP. The JEDEC 1.2v profile keeps frequency @ 3200Mhz and response timings equal to CL20 whereas RAM like the Corsair Vengeance will only run @ 2666mhz without XMP.
Hi. Do you know if the kingston Fury Impact ram, but the CL18 version, would run at cl18 right away?
Reviews seem to indicate that they will work. I'm happy with the kit I got but if you want CL18 might as well give them a shot. I get it. I have CL14 on my desktop so who doesn't want better latency and timings? I got the ones I got since I saw a bunch of verified posts saying it works with our Legions.

Thanks.
I got the fast secondary timings 32GB ram on my machine so I won't be updating anytime soon, but just wanted to know just in case. (and to recommend them in case someone asks)
The OLOy ones although cl18, have slow secondary timings so might be best to avoid as it won't perform as good. (that's why they are so cheap I guess)
The G.skill one seems to have the same secondary timings as the Kingston Impact so those are a good option for sure too.

You REALLY need help with comprehension....You can read but the comprehending is lacking. Did I MENTION or SAY one SINGLE Solitary thing about RYZEN 5000??

You really need to start trying to accept mistakes. So, against which you were comparing ?

Very happy with these laptops. They are heavy and behemoths and the fans are loud. Bigger cases, better airflow, louder fans.
Is it CL18 @ XMP or @ 1.2V?

Couldn't find the Impact ram with cl18, but for example, would these other options, ran at the advertised speed on my AMD legion 5 pro?
