I have only had 3 vehicles with those sensors and all of them had built in programming that lets you do change their position on the vehicle if that is what you are referring to. Youtube is a great resource for this.

Whether this model or another one, this is an item that EVERY driver should have in their car. The peace of mind you get on a long trip from knowing whether that sudden CEL is a big problem or some minor thing you can address later is worth way more than $20.

I got a check engine light after replacing the valve covers (kinda deep) on my 2003 Nissan. I thought it was the same problem before because I didn't torque it in the right sequence and had a vacuum leak.

Bought a bunch of new gaskets, and picked this up (but red instead of black). This thing told me it was the fuel pump or pressure regulator. So I wiggled the wires. I just didn't snap the electrical connectors all the way.

Don't guess what you think it is, just plug this in. Also, as soon as you buy this, you'll never have CEL come on.

I've had good success with a Bluetooth module and the Torque app on my Android phones, but I figured as a backup I'd buy one of these that I got for $11 the other day. I've always wanted to see how they worked anyway, but it'll be nice if the Bluetooth module doesn't work on somebody else's car, I can plug this reader in.
