It's about $100 less than regular price and the lowest I've seen the newer version that includes a bracket. I had to grab one to replace my 9.5k BTU LG. 100F summers and 9.5 just barely brings the upstairs rooms down to 78F, so I'm hoping this one performs better.

Was just about to post this. Not the cheapest the 12k has ever been, but a decent price nonetheless.

Worth every penny! I paid $100 more for this last year and it worked perfect in my 400 sq. ft master. Was a bit of a hassle to install depending on your window frame and it does require a vertical sliding window, but I can't recommend this enough. Barely noticed an increase in my energy bill

I did a self-install of a couple of mini-splits, but it requires purchasing some specialized equipment and it's not for everyone. Also, if you live in an apartment, it's unlikely you'd be allowed to install one.
