That is crazy that would never be allowed at Targets around here. The Target in St. Charles is now throwing a fit about using a $ off coupon with a BOGO free coupon. But if you have cashiers like Sharon said in her example that type in $12.99 for coupons that are only worth $3 or so that would seem like a big part of the problem. Plus chances are that the cashier was exaggerating the $ amounts anyway.

Sharon now that I think about it the cashier might thought she was doing you a favor with the high $ entries and that you would not object to her keeping your gift card with the balance on it, as she felt you should share the wealth of what she did for you. That situation would make me very uncomfortable, because I wouldn't want the store to get any idea that I was in cahoots with the cashier trying to steal from the store, as the activities of the register are watched on tape at times.

doubles at all Kmarts??? rats...all my best ones just expired laugh out loud darn this lack of couponing time!!! Annoyed

Has anyone ever noticed expired meds on the shelf at their Target? For the past few weeks, every time I go in there are boxes of expired meds. I keep rounding the boxes up and taking them to the pharmacy counter and telling them they are expired, and they thank me for bringing it to their attention. Next time I go in...meds are back on the shelf. Not recently expired either. Middle of last year....WTF?!!!? Is there some sort of law against this???

(this has happened at least 4 times now and it's always the same meds....the peelie coupon on the front of the box actually expired in 2007 vomit)

If you really want to pursue the issue, I would contact your state's Attorney General's office. They are usually the agency tasked with enforcing Consumer Rights and the like. It is quite likely that they could be fined/otherwise penalized for having the exp. meds on the shelf --- and even greater punishment if it could be proven that they *knowingly* did it.

Another avenue is to contact the media... shame the store into removing the goods once and for all.

Well, this is the email that I got. Not sure how others acquire the list from their area with the store numbers and all. But it seems like all of FL as it.


"Our current promotion is being held at Select K-mart stores from 04/19/09 04/25/09. The K-mart stores in Oakland Park, Davie, Boca Raton, and Hollywood (both locations) will be participating in this event, and will double coupons up to $2.00."

Weird. My cashiers always hand me my GC's once they have loaded them. The register did not prompt for a supervisor when she was entering $12.99 Confused3. It definitely would at my stores.

I emailed them also with my zip code and the wrote back and said all store is Jacksonville were participating. Love me some double coupons.
