When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

OK, first the CAT I get at Target, now this....I am beginning to wonder if I am stuck in a dream.....

At the registers tonight were these new cardboard like signs attached to the ends of them. They all said different things but the few I saw said......

WE GLADLY ACCEPT MANUFACTURES COUPONS.

WE GLADLY ACCEPT ONE MANUFACTURES COUPON AND ONE TARGET COUPON FOR EACH ITEM.

I wanted to rip the sign off and fold it up to keep safe with me at all times, but it was like 3 feet tall. If I knew how to use my camera phone, I would have taken a picture.

I know someone said that they found Kotex in the trial section the other day. I had found them their long ago, but haven't seen them since. Is anyone else seeing them????

If anyone needs a 25% off coupon for Old Navy, there are still plenty left at Oldnavyweekly.com

I have 11 $5 Similac checks and 11 $2 any Similac MQs if anyone is looking to trade.

Also, if you don't use Shutterfly often, check your email from them. Last week I got a code for 50% and free shipping on photobooks on one account and today I got a code for a free 8x8 photobook, a $29.99 value on another account. The Promo Code: SUMMERBOOK But it will only work if they've sent it to you. Offer ends August 26, 2009.

And finally, I found a peelie at Target today on the frozen TGIF appetizers. It said $7 of saving inside and it is lime green. It's got two MQs for $1 off any TGI Fridays skillet meal and $1 off a party pack value size TGI Friday frozen snack. There is also a coupon for the TGI Friday's restaurant, $5 off $15 and it expires 5/1/2010, not good with any other offers so not that great, but a long expiration anyway.

Nikki, please call me if you need any help with this situation..
Sharon, I cannot tell you what a great friend you have become. hug

We thought the gagging was due to enlarged tonsils so we had them removed in 2007. No change.

I literally want to cry. I'm sorry to be a Debbie Downer but I cringe at the selfishness of sometimes being embarrassed by my child. Not embarrassed OF him, but FOR him, kwim? My Dad treats him so differently than my other kids Frown
Ryland hugs everyone. I mean everyone. Since he's large for his age, people wonder WTH is up with him. To me he is a perfectly normal looking child. You'd have to spend time with him to fully see that he has oddities (thanks for that BBSkye). Ryland is just so special. It's almost like he looks right into your soul.
Everyone at school just loves him to pieces and he NEVER meets a stranger. He walks up, shakes your hand and introduces himself. Then he spells his name, just in case you think he said Ryan.He then proceeds to ask you if you want to hear about planets...then he names them in order and tells you facts about each one. Then he says "Do you like my baby sister? Isnt she just too cute?" He wants to tell everyone he meets his life story.

Anyway, sorry for the ramble. Thanks everyone hug

DEC~ Pray hug

Thrifty~ I am on the fence with castor oil. I've used it myself so I'm not downing you if you try it, but I've also heard stories of it causing the baby to pass meconium and inhaling it, causing the baby to become very sick. Just some food for thought.

I also have friends that save their placenta to plant a tree. Yep, 2 friends in Canada have brought their placentas home to make paintings and then plant "The Tree of Life"
To me that is totally weird, but hey...whatever floats their boats. They are both into attachment parenting and believe CIO (crying it out) is abuse and causes long term emotional issues. To each his own, I guess. They have some great points, but each parent must choose they path they feel most comfortable with.

Thanks for this info! There are a couple boy's in dd's class with birthday's coming up, these might be some nice things to pick up for them. I will have to investigate the line to see what they make, and hopes it will be suitable for the 5/6 yo range. I printed 5 q's (one for each boy in her class).

hope you find him safe and sound!

hug you got lots of good advice today. Think about having him tested, if nothing else, it may put your mind at ease. Something I told myself when ds was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. "He's the same kid today, with the diagnosis, that he was yesterday. Nothing has changed except putting a name to something that was already there"

Iagree why put yourself through stomach cramps and the runs, and then have to endure labor on top of that EEK!
I love your thought and I wish more parent's thought like you. hug

Using camera phone is easy, pm me what phone you have and I can walk you through the steps to do it. Most of them have a designated camera button, so it's really simple.

Kotex are in the trial section here. They were $0.97 (weird, target never usually does the .x7 I thought that was always left to walhell...) and I think 2 or 3 pads in the package. They are the actual pads too, not the liners.

You are so welcome! And thank you hug because you are the best. BTW I wish I would have looked because I still have some more of those Embarrassment I won't be able to use them here and they will just go to waste. I got some new combs this week at CVS for the horses, but still have a nice handful.

I hope everyone and their families are doing well tonight.

Dec- I pm'd ya earlier, but I hope that you find your dog. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Anyone seen Dawn or Crazy lately? I hope both are well.

Not ONE FP Trio in my KM. In fact, most of the toys are in the center isles on mark down carts and it looks like a tornado went through them. The mgr said they are doing a toy re-set so time to clearance the old ones out (I thought they just did that)....anyway, I asked about the Trios and she looked at me like I had two heads, so needless to say, I came home without toys.

Nikki, did you say ds was 4 y/o? It is amazing that he knows the planets and everything about them. He sounds like a wonderful little boy hug

Girl, if ya gotta cry, cry! There is no shame in crying shake head and if people try to make you feel horrible about it, so pee on them! (afraid to use other word, becauses someone will ma me for it Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) )

You are a wonderful parent, and you are doing a great job with your son! I think it is fantastic that he knows so much about his planets, and that he is such a loving caring little child! There are so many kids out there that are not being raised as they should, and quite frankly they are little snots.

I know what you mean about being embarassed for him, I can't see a person on the street that is elderly, or disabled, or is physically/emotionally ailing without feeling the tug of heart strings.

Have you talked to your dad about treating him differently? I know that is possibly easier said than done, but maybe he can realize, unless he is a hardheaded/stubborn person who won't listen with an open mind (no accusations that your father is that way, please don't take it as so, just stating that that is why most people treat kids differently. That or they are scared inside and don't know how to properly express their emotions)

Good luck to you hug

He memorizes everything. He is obsessed with planets right now. There order, rotation, temperature, etc. It used to me infomercials. By just looking at him socially, he seems fine. He goes regress around other children. He is 4 and 56 pounds. The largest kid in his class, but he backs down sometimes. Not always.
He is very sensitive to sound or touch. Even brushing his hair with a soft brush kills him. Just today he freaked in a public bathroom. He HATES them because the toilets are so loud. When Madelyn was tiny he would cry when she cried because of the sound.
Now he cries when she gets shots because he loves her so much heart He is different. I just can't quite put my finger on it though.

hug Thank you

Yep, it's all in his head nod He despises anything that needs to be eaten with a fork or spoon.
http://www.sensory-processing-dis...klist.html

When I read other responses, I think there are people here who are MUCH more knowledgeable than me, but not liking the soft brush made me think. I worked with a friend whose youngest had a sensory integration disorder. His was the other way on at least part of it, he felt NO pain so even when he was 3 or so he would not tell them his stomach hurt or he had a sore throat. She would realize he was lethargic and had a fever before he ever complained of not feeling well.

It usually is true that moms know best so if you think you need more evaluation, feel confident in pushing for it. My son's kinder teacher diagnosed him with ADHD after the first week of school when he was actually just bored to tears and used to being in more of a Montessori environment where he could do mostly whatever floated his boat that day. I just told her no way, give it a few weeks. Things got better slowly but surely. But she would have had us drug him for her convenience. And she had been teaching kinder 15-20 years!!!!

4Busy, Comfort He sounds like a wonderful boy. Better to know, right?

I had a student with Asperger's a couple of years ago. He was one of the brightest students in the class by far. A lot of the stuff you are saying reminds me of this young man.

And Cold about the CIO. I certainly hope that's not true!! I've been thrilled about how BB (we call him baby boy, laugh out loud) has responded, but I'm always afraid someday he'll be sitting on a psychiatrist's couch complaining about something I did to him. . . Sadwalk

Teri~ yep Ryland is 4. He will be 5 in September but after the public school cutoff date Frown So he wont start Kindergarten until he is almost 6.

plgffl~My Daddy is a slave driver. Teehee He expects the highest standards and nothing less will do. I love him and he is a wonderful Daddy, but he can drive ya nuts nod He lets the oldest boys stay the night, but not Ryland..not until he can "act right". Mad He says he's 56 years old and his nerves just can't take it.
Right now he is also amazed with God. How God made this, why God made that, why did God make bad people...the questions just never stop. You can just look at him and tell him mind is going 1000 miles per minute.

Although this is good at Target...he just chats the cashiers ears off and she is so frazzled, she just scans away. Like tonight he said "Do you know some jellyfish glow? Yep, its called bioluminescence!" I asked where he heard that and he said "Channel 28" LMAO
