This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I saw that too, but I wasn't sure if that was what she meant. I have been following her blog this last week, since surrogacy is interesting to me (not for me to do, as I was MISERABLE with Soph, though after all the vomit I did, I was quite thin Scratchchin) so I wasn't sure if it was something particular to surrogacy, or just what you said. I am glad I wasn't the only Confused one! Stick Out Tongue

Forgot to mention my 2.25 bounty beeped expired yesterday...idk if it's old news or not.
Yeah, that one beeped expired for me awhile back...maybe beginning of August? I am finding that insert, mailer, and peelie/hangtag TQs work for the 30 days past expiration whereas the printables come up expired right away.

Had a mini garage sale this weekend, made about $250. Not great, but whatev. I just hate to bring it all back in. But I keep forgetting we do a Game Night the day after Thanksgiving (after I'm done shopping on Black Friday of course) and we always do gift bags for all the couples that come. Last year, I bought Target reusable totes for everyone and filled them up! So I will have use for a lot of this stuff but I would rather it be sold.

My newest repeat customer is going to be my new mail carrier! Maybe she can snag me extra Red Plums! laugh out loud

On another side note, today was my second day of job shadowing at the vet clinic. When I was getting ready to leave, the vet pulled me aside and asked me to take something with me. He handed me an application for employment! Yahoo! He said that he doesn't advertise openings, but that they have been tossing around pulling in another tech, and that he would like me to start now and work there through school and beyond!

I've been on cloud nine all night - he's less than 5 minutes from my house and although I was a little concerned about his "style"at first, I think I really like the clinic!

Teri~ was on your side of town tonight. Your K has a few Trio's now I didnt get any but noticed them there. Stopped into T for a quickie Teehee Cashier had to write the amount on the coupons so I did some quick shuffling to match them all up Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) I had less than 20 items but it was still a pain...and 5 of those were Spongebob toothbrushes. So I visited Guest Services before I left.

Congrats TMCWS! You know, I remember your name easily because I think... Too Much Crest White Strips

Gawd my brain is FRIED! I have like 8 word pad documents opened...
Totally know that feeling. I've lost so many docs and q's lately. I'm half tempted to just delete everything in my folders and restart the organization process. bye bye q's...

Looks like Hasbro renewed the expiration date on the MQ. Was 8/22, now 8/28

Yay - thanks! I haven't managed to get in on any good game deals, so hoping to use these.

Unless they are wanting it because T has a BOGO Q for Cesar
ARGH! I just bought a bunch of cesar's this week!

I'm gonna wait for them to clear and order this thing. Is it wrong to admit that i am intrigued by this toy and want to play with it? LMAO
Well, I've finally admitted 10 years later that the only reason I ever bought legos for the first kid was because "I" liked them - not cuz she asked for them/liked them/wanted them.

YAY!!

*******

Okay, so...

We did a flea market today - made $400, which was nice. Ran home, got the girls and went to a friends house. Left hubby and the baby, took oldest DD outside to go meet the rest of the ladies at the movies (Julie & Julia - Loved it way more than I thought I would), and the dumb car won't start. We're sooooooo mad! We just had it in the shop!! On top of that, the money we had made was supposed to go toward paying off some medical bills - now this. ARGH! I'm way annoyed.

On a better note, I was at a local T yesterday when some q's were behaving "weird" and the cashier felt that she needed to call over a manager. Manager shrugs and says "if that's what they're ringing up, take 'em..." She said "I could hand key them..." and he says "no... that would just be more hassle than it's worth." drool I like this store!!!

That depends if you really want one and how long 75% toys stick around your store.

I picked another one up at $24'xx - minus $10 mfq minus $5 tg mailer...My kids looooove this thing so between the 3 of them that fight over it and the fact that we have a billion books and it only holds 5 and Mommy is too lazy to change the books....I found $9 to be worth it to me Big Grin

Only one of my 2 closest stores had it 50% and it was the last one...the other store is still at 30% w/ about a dozen still left, if they make it to 75% I'll 'buy' them all.

I posted in HD.Not a jaw dropper, but Stride Rite socks for 71% off. Not bad.

The site has so much more stuff but I haven't looked all over yet. There might be some more hidden deals there, but you can't search by price so it's hit and miss.
