Seems to me if you do a lot of daytime TV watching OLED might not be worth the extra $$. However, night time movies are awesome.
No signs of burn in whatsoever.

To get around this, i had to plug it into my soundbar.

I've got this, the same year LG and the Skyworth OLED. I use the Sony in the bedroom. It's by far the dimmest of the 3. It largely has the best picture processing and color accuracy.
I think the best use for this one is in a light controlled or dimmer room but it's picture processing is better so if you watch say a lot of older lower quality DVDs and such they look far better. It's color accuracy uncalibrated is much more accurate.
The LG and Skyworth are way brighter and give way more dynamic pop with HDR content.
I've had it quite a while now and had no issues whatsoever.
HDMI 2.1 looks good on paper but as it is not easy to find the quality content in 4K@120Hz, this doesn't seem to be a blocker.
I'd sum it up this way. This A8H looks good in a bright room, however, it looks awesome in a dark room.
My brother picked up an open box A8H last night for $1,035 at BB. Appears to be in pretty good condition. Some scratches on the back where it looks like someone struggled to wall mount it. Finger and hand prints on the screen. According to the diagnostics it only has 42 hours. Made in October 2021. I'd call that a bargain.

For example I paid for the high-res Netflix streaming and couldn't tell the difference. A Blu-Ray still looks better to my eyes, not even a 4K Blu-Ray.
