Anyone have experience with this vs sandisk extreme in a environment where there are quite a few physical shocks to the drive? Trying to decide which one to use in a Tesla for recordings.

I'm curious, why would "physical shocks" matter for an SSD? It doesn't have any spindles or heads like a traditional hard disk.

Why don't you get the Jeda SSD?

I use the Jeda SSD for recordings made in my Tesla. I tried the Sandisk Extreme, but there were errors in the data, and often no data was recorded at all, presumably because of all the physical shocks to the drive.

You would think so. I have had 2 ssds go bad in tesla after using for a month. General consensus is due to shock.

Last i checked it was $140 for 256GB , this one / sandisk is under a $100 bucks for 1TB , but might still go with Jeda if i can confirm it works with 2021 M3LR which has the USB port in glovebox and without the Jeda Hub( I dont have the Jeda Hub)

Anyone try to get Best Buy to price match?

Edit: Please ignore my question as I just checked Best Buy website and they stopped price matching Newegg.

Got this on my M1 pro Mac for my photos library. It gets super hot when transferring a ton of files, but otherwise is great.
