No one cares about the OLED after they see the projector.

Overall, I tried a 4k UST projector and felt it's not worth the money compared to say 86" TV worth around $1500.
If you get the same experience from a 150" vs 86" screen sitting at 10 ft away, you are an enlightened one. Enough said.
I want good blacks because literally every movie and TV show has a lot of dark scenes.
I wouldn't trade this for an OLED setup. The same $$ would not get me an OLED that's anywhere near that size.

If you don't have ambient lights or in a dark room, you don't need it. I had mine projected on the wall for a year and enjoyed it. But then I got the ALR on BF, it is result is dramatic better.
The problem with UST is you shine the light from down to up, so it will cast shadow of your wall is not completely smooth. Regular projectors don't have that issue.
my biggest complaint is that it doesn't work with my Harmony remote - and CEC stuff is wonky at best.

Obviously though an OLED won't compete with the sheer size of a 120" projected image. But it depends on which youd rather have.
If you want a big image and solid contrast, JVC projectors are the best. Anything from the 2007 RS-1 to current will blow your mind.

It only matters if you want to use your projectors with ambient light. If you watch in the dark, you need it.

Looks like 22" for a 100" diag.
