Looks/sounds like a good deal.

I only wish this were a desktop instead of a laptop, and at somewhere *other than* Microcenter (sadly, closest one is 5-6 hours away).

Otherwise I would be all over this.

Would absolutely jump on this if it didn't have a 720p camera. Everything else checks all the boxes I've been watching for.

247 according to laptopmag.com

Seems like the only downside to this laptop is the screen. I need something that is portable but will have it hooked up to monitor mostly.

I was eyeing the MSI laptop on sale in costco for 1299$ but for 300$ less this seems to be a solid buy with similar specs.. 17.3 vs 15.6... 300 vs 250 nits.. 240WH brick vs 180 WH... however i like the 4.3 lbs on this one compared to the 6.9 lbs on that one..

I have a dilemma. I bought this 13 days ago at Microcenter for $714.96.

(Open Box) Legion 7 15IMH05 15.6" Gaming Laptop Computer Factory Refurbished - Grey; Intel Core i7 10th Gen 10750H 2.6GHz Processor; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q 8GB GDDR6; 16GB DDR4-2933 RAM; 512GB Solid State Drive; Microsoft Windows 10 Home; 10/100/1000 Network; 2x2 802.11ax Wireless+Bluetooth 5.0; 15.6" Full HD IPS Anti-Glare 144Hz G-Sync Display with Dolby Vision

Do I return and get this? As someone who primarily uses for 4x games (like Stellaris) is it worth the extra $300?

Isn't it fairly rare for anything else?

No. Keep the 2070. You're not getting a major performance boost, at least not a $300 boost. Generally speaking, all the benchmarks show the 3060 and 2070 being equivalent, with some games performing better on one or the other.

Maybe for a 'gaming' rig it is rare but I use mine for business and a lot of virtual meetings; there is a big difference in video quality.
