Currently the 6 outlet strip has a $3 coupon bringing it down to $47.

According to ccc this is a good deal but man, $47 still seems expensive. I'll just use a single kasa plug before a normal surge protector.

You wouldn't get this unless you have multiple electronics that needs to be individually controlled.

The energy monitoring is a must have feature for some. Without energy monitoring, agree it's pricey.

This comment implies that it's a single kasa smart plug that turns off all 6 at once--this is not true, they're individually controlled.

But if you plugged in a regular surge protector into a single Kasa plug, then yes it all 6 at once

The deal is for 6 port surge protector that uses up one port at wall
Each port on the protector has its own on and off control
Also sounds like energy monitoring at each port? Pretty nice if true

I have this and really like it. I use the scheduling to turn off each of my computer peripherals and turn back on as-needed or on a timer.

For example, my monitors turn off each day at 5pm and turn back on at 7am the following day (except weekends).

I don't turn on my laser printer or scanner until I need it, and can do it from my phone, the outlet, or my Stream Deck.
