Honestly this tool is pretty useless, it's not fit for things you would use a grinder for and anything it's remotely good at just takes way too long and it's very underpowered. The only redeeming thing about this tool is the option to reverse the rotation of the blade. Other than that I'd take a hack saw, jig saw or a $15 HF grinder over this.

I have this tool and it's amazing, especially for a homeowner, enough power to cut anything a DIYer might want.
It come with 1 metal cut off wheel, 1 carbide abrasive blade, 1 diamond tile blade

If you need a wood blade, the following blade fits perfectly

Don't buy this if you don't know for sure where to use it. I'm a big Milwaukee fan, I own so many tools from Milwaukee, and this one is on the top of my regret list, and I'm stuck with it. I have a M18 fuel grinder, a lot more powerful and useful than this little weak thing.

Thanks OP. I did grab one. This actually comes in handy for cutting small tubes of Aluminum framing. The 4.0 battery is a bonus!

I'm on the fence about getting this, but I'm a homeowner that has no idea where I would use this tool. I already got the hackzall with rotary tool deal, but the only situation where I think I could possibly use this in the house is to cut out a drywall section for repair, but I was planning on using a multi-tool for that already. I think it's a deal based on the discounted price, but can any comment on situations you would use this in the home as a DIYer?

I have one here for $119. Should I get it? I don't do a lot of DYI but I do occasionally need to cut a 2x4 to leanght or split a 4x8 piece of plywood. BTW, what's up with all these tools deals?
I have one of these and find it very handy. I've cut through 1/8" steel, various heavy plastics, bolts, etc. I've also used to quickly cut down large heavy cardboard boxes. It has a great form factor, comfortable to hold, high rpm. With a decent sized battery this is a good deal at $120.

It also comes with a removable dust shoe that has a depth adjustment and vacuum attachment.

I bought this the last time it was posted. I hated how they shipped it by slapping a label on the Milwaukee box. Just screams steal me when I saw it on my porch.

Also the stupid bag wouldn't open. It was jammed up, so I couldn't even open it after 20 minutes of trying. Gave up and returned it.
I agree that home depot could definitely work on boxing these up! Every milwaukee tool I have bought from home depot comes directly in the box!

DIY homeowner and I haven't had a situation that led me to bring this tool out because my other available tools couldn't handle the task at hand (circ saw, Hackzall, jigsaw, grinder).

I'm guessing this would be very useful for someone who works with metal pipes a lot (electrical conduit, HVAC piping, etc) but as a homeowner I think the money would be better spent on something that'll get more use.
