This is the new light switch released last year which adds the motion sensor, I think this is the best price ever.

One consideration is that the Home Depot "Hubspace" platform may not be as feature-rich as Kasa. I'm able to schedule time and sunset/sunrise based rules for the switches, but the motion triggering rules cannot be a part of a schedule, and not linked between devices.

The ones I've gotten have all failed to be recognized by Echo Plus or died. Thanks!

However, a door sensor would be even easier and more reliable.
I'm talking more about ceiling fan functionality like fan speed and light operation. I was thinking about using one of the Kasa dimmer switches for fan speed but I was told that was a big no no.

For the most part, I don't experience any issues with controlling this light though, since 98% of the time it's connected to the network. However, my router/gateway pings these devices once every 10 seconds, so only the log/alerts show when the IoT devices disconnect and reconnect.
Bro, this is gold! While there we may need to buy other accessories as well
metaverse sucks BTW
