I checked some random zip codes, most stores are $249, a few at $140, the lowest one I saw is $100, but oos. YMMV.

QA Note: Now appears to be OOS for online pickup or shipping, so in store only now.

I'm no expert but I was shopping for an ultrawide 34-35" for a couple months before buying one before Christmas from Costco and didn't see anything for less than $350. This seems like a great price for an office monitor.

Will I notice much of a difference between this and a similar 4k monitor? It's a VA panel, and it looks like a 2018 model. I was looking at the 28" IPS 4k monitors from Samsung.

This would be for home office use and general web browsing/YouTube.

Bought this last fall and ended up returning it. My complaints were: 1. Text was noticeably fuzzy 2. There's an odd horizontal stretching effect to everything . I paid a little more for a same size LG model and did not have either problem. This isn't a terrible choice but I personally wouldn't pay more than $200 for it at most.

Fuzzy text maybe be related to sub pixel layout. RGB vs BGR.

flat (non curved) and 75hz make this probably not the best deal.

I have a 32" 4k monitor, and running Windows at full resolution the icons and fonts can be a bit on the small side... I think 28" would be too small unless you're part hawk... If you're committed to 28" you may consider a 2560x1440 monitor - that's a good resolution for productivity at that size...

This is great monitor for watching movies, not so sure about a main monitor. I personally have it mounted above my main gaming monitor for discord/movies/youtube/ect. Love watching movies and shows with no black bars!

Love this monitor for productivity. Completely useless for gaming though.

Bought this for pandemic wfh. It saved me from hundreds of hours of checking Engineering prints side by side. With a smaller monitor, I would be constantly zooming in and out and running out of room.

Samsung recently just sold this for $249 but it sold out in a couple of hours.

The vid reviews for this indicate the following:

1. Has good contrast (as it is a VA screen) and ninjadisplay indicates this is a very good screen for the money: https://www.displayninja.com/sams...5w-review/
2. It can be overclocked to 95hz and is stable at that refresh rate: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FBl5XPm_Kc
3. The weakest part of this monitor is it's stand. It is totally plastic and allows for no screen manipulation (i.e. rotate, tilt, increase/decrease height) and the screen is wobbly when using it. Since this screen is about 18lbs in weight expect to pay and additional $100 - $200 for a decent stand. I decided to purchase the AmazonBasic Lift arm so I could use the space under the monitor and it gives it a very clean look: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1
