Did u use all 3 codes? Add something for $10. I was frantic in buying as I knew it would go quick. I thought it said "add an additional $9.09 to qualify for this discount" but it could've been a few cents more. I'd add something for $10 or more just to see. Make sure u are using the 2 codes above and then the code they give u after you sign up for $15 off of $60 or more.

Isn't this barely off retail since it is the digital version?
$255 vs $300 is hardly something you can call "barely"

Is this much worse quality than Xbox x?
It has 1/3rd the raw power as the X (4 TFLOPS vs 12 TFLOPS). But I am a believer in diminishing returns at this level of performance. You can not tell that the series X is pushing 3x the graphics even when comparing them side by side. The series S is a better deal than any PC you can get at that price by FAR but it is on the same level in some ways as the ps4 pro and one X. The SSD is a huge deal in games though.

This. Unless you have a 4k display with a true 120hz refresh rate, the S is an incredible buy and value. Getting an X with a 4k/120hz display is better eye candy - at a price premium.

Also sad this is OOS everywhere in like... 2 seconds. Frown

This is cheaper than Nintendo Switch excluding Lite model. obviously not to compare to PS nor Nintendo but price is decent with modern specs.

Great console for casual gamers NOT demanding all of the belts and whistles at home.
I'm still not convinced that it's worth the upgrade from my one x. Halo Forza 5 and Vanguard all play smooth for my liking. I'm going to wait for series x to go on sale. Me no game pass either.

You have a point. Going from One X to Series S is not a complete upgrade. Going from One X to Series X is but not right now until you can afford to get the Series X. You're smart so I can understand your position.

Damn! I have too many physical games. Can we hook up CD drive or something to use the physical games on this ?
That's my issue. I don't really use my One that often, so going with a Series S is tempting, "except" that the games I have are mostly physical so all the reverse compatibility is out the window. If there was a 350 S with disk drive (that I could then get on sale) I'd likely grab that, but sans that I'm probably waiting tell a deal on a Series X a couple years from now.

What's the ideal use scenario on this with Game Pass Ultimate? I currently subscribe to Ultimate but I only use it on my pc. I feel like I'm not talking full advantage of paying extra for Ultimate.

Not much of a gamer. How is this for a 4k Blu-ray player? Good value? Don't think it supports Dolby Vision. Anything else I will be missing? Alternative is Sony players which can be had on sale for ~$200. With this one I have the option to play games if I wanted to.
