Browsing thru all the stories and seeing some horror stories makes me wonder if this Pennzoil Rebate program is rigged. I'm sure most will get their rebate but if they do this to even 10% of the people they are cheating and making a bundle.
"Alright, so I called them and asked as I have two in "mailed" status.. It took 42 minutes to get this answer of holding but the lady who answered said that apparently, the vendor had a batch failure for a large group of rebates. She said 3/7 to 3/15 and they are resending them but they've not been told when the end-user will receive it but it should be very soon. I was wrong on my mail date it was actually the 8th because I had to resubmit the receipt(forgot about that). So if you turned to "mail" state from 3/7-3/15 you may be receiving it soon."
"The rejected reason stated that Amazon is not participating store, while the rebate form included Amazon."
" Same here. Called today and had to argue, point their nose to the rebate terms. In the end they said it was sent back for review, but the status is still "Invalid""

Delivery/Pick-up Email Confirmation Required but mines was Amazon Locker pickup. I sent Amazon receipt titled "Shipped on April 17, 2022" meaning shipped the Locker for pickup. I assume they want a pickup confirmation receipt??

Yeah I think you can just send an email to them. Put your rebate number in the subject line. It took them like a day to mark it received and re-checking

I waited until I received the denial email, then just replied to that email but changed the recipient to [email protected]. I included a copy of my order invoice showing the delivery date (I think originally it just said shipped). And since I didn't have the delivery confirmation email, I searched my account message history and found a copy of the confirmation email. I took a screenshot of that and sent it.
I got an immediate confirmation email that my request was received. Then about 6 hours later I got the reply that they were re-processing my rebate. This was yesterday and today my status shows as Mailed. Still have my other rebate that was denied that I will need to correct, but all-in-all this wasn't too bad.

I called again after 8 weeks and was told it got stuck. She manually escalated my claim, so now when I check the website it shows as: online manual validation. In process.
So I'm still waiting…
Hope my rebate gets approved soon.
