Should probably add collet size to title. Seems like it includes both 1/4 and 1/2.

The Lowes states 1/4 inch but Amazon shows it includes both 1/4 and 1/2 inch in the images. Either both are different or one of them is wrong

The Lowes images show both sizes in the text and two wrenches, one for each size.

Thanks. Doesn't show that in the Lowes app. I'm thinking of trying to swap the router on the Kobalt/Router table I got and this might fit the bill. Kobalt is 12amp vs Metabo 11amp but thebKobalt is fixed speed

The cordless router doesn't go to the 1/2" collett size and has less power. It's more convenient for some situations, like installed trim, but it's not quite the workbench tool that the corded model is.

Too bad this doesn't fit the JessEm Rout-R-Lift lift SD @ Focus Camera. That would be a solid start for a full featured router table on the cheap.

So with the cordless your primarily paying a premium for the convenience. Makes sense. I'll most likely snag the corded and save myself some money.

If you're using the router primarily in the shop, corded is definitely the way to go. More power, and unlimited work time, unencumbered by limited battery life.

FWIW... I have this router and have been pleased with it so far. I used it a couple weeks ago in a router sled to flatten the top and bottom of a 24x72 workbench top. It required long run-time, and it ran with no issues at all.
