I prefer the Hydroflask straw lid for cold liquids simply because my water that comes from a refrigerator/cooler stays cold all day and into the next day (even into the next day), the straw makes it easy to drink a ton of water, and since the volume is so large, I have to refill it less frequently. The hydroflask dents easily though so that is my main complaint. It dents even with the rubber boot on. I have put hot and warm liquids in here too and it holds heat well, but am generally more hesitant because of the plastic straw that ends up bending. And who knows how safe hot plastic is. It'll probably be better with a different lid, but the bottle is too big for me to ever want to lift up and drink without the straw.
The con with the Zojirushi cool bottle doesn't keep water as cold as the hydroflask IMO (and is rated only for 6 hours), and you can only put cold or room temp water in it. It's a nice looking bottle with a convenient flip cap, so its easy to drink water with one hand. I bought the smaller 28 oz size thinking it would fit in my cup holder, however I discovered it has an annoying little lip on the bottom that prevents it from fitting in the cup holder in my car. Its probably my less favorite of the 3 and only use it when I need a smaller bottle.
The Zojirushi thermos is excellent for hot liquids, but cleaning the mouthpiece from tea or coffee stains is a pain. It keeps things piping hot and usually I have to leave the lid open for liquids to even be drinkable otherwise I burn my tongue. It's also great at keeping things cold, but in general I wouldn't use it for cold water because the volume is too little and you can't really chug from the lid. Also, I stupidly put Emergen-C in mine and my bottle forever smells like vitamin C.

Nordstrom Rack and Amazon have Hydroflask items, I ordered a Hydroflask lid from Amazon and got it in 2 days. Hopefully the Hydroflask I ordered from the Nordstrom Rack sale gets here with no issues.
"If you look at the logo on the green flash, it has the Ā® on it which indicates that it is a real Hydro Flask. However the blue water bottle does not has the Ā® on it at all."
The photos from the official Hydro Flask website do not have the Ā® either, so I assume this reviewer is visually challenged or mentally challenged..

Say no to China
They should and could make in USA
I would be glad to pay a few bucks more!

The only thing you have that's not MADE in China is probably your body, assuming your parents weren't Asian travel fans.
Even made in America stuff is often manufactured in China and assembled in the U.S. the country of origin has very little to do with the quality of the item. It's all in the manufacturing quality standards. If you don't like China so much, say good bye to any device you're using to access slick deals.
