Also, if you don't already have a huge collection of third party titles, Gamepass brings a lot of value there. It includes lots of Bethesda titles, as well as EA Pass, etc.

AND what external SSD do you recommend for the Series S besides the Seagate Storage Expansion Card?
The Seagate card is proprietary, so there are no real alternatives. They designed it so that it functions exactly like an internal SSD that just happens to be located on the outside. External USB drives still work for storage and/or playing older games, but the official card is the only way to play next gen games externally.
I don't see MS releasing a revision with more storage any time soon, so this would be the way to get a 1TB Series S.
