I bought this light last time it was promoted here and it runs hot, to the point where it gets uncomfortable to hold. The runtime is pretty poor as well. I wouldn't buy again.

Torque test channel rated this "best value" at $19. Their test confirmed getting the full 400 lumens. One downgrade was the battery life of 1 hour 15 minutes. At this price a smokin' deal.

I've had two of these for about 6 months now. I don't have any way of measuring the lumens but they are pretty bright to me. And being rechargeable at this price it's worth it. I don't have any complaints about them so far.

I'd love to get one with an incandescent bulb. LEDs are often too bright and too white for fine work.

how long will these keep a charge unplugged and off? i have one with a removeable battery and after a month its useless, and if i lose power i cant charge it. kind of annoying
