This deal is for a pocket driver (PS21) and an impact driver (PS41), it does not include a drill. The kit with a drill (PS31) and impact driver (PS41) is here: https://www.amazon.com/Bosch-CLPK...B005GT0IWK

Sorry, I posted that so people could see the difference between the kits. Not intended as a deal.

If anyone is interested in the CLPK22-120 kit (with the PS31 drill) $147.00 is not a good price and you should wait for a similar $99 deal.

Edit: LOL at the downvotes. Fine, pay more, dummies.

I think I have this set except the charger is different. I love the impact, have enough power for most of my needs. Smoke it a bit and it's still working. It's not brushless, can see spark inside when using it in the dark. Nice that it come with 2 batteries. Both is top heavy, I'm fine with it.

I believe this kit has the redesigned clutch versus the older model. it's much shorter than the older version. it could be an e clutch

Highly recomment the drill + impact set... I've had it for 4-5 years. However one of these is a drill/driver... I'm not an expert here, but between this one and the other drill/driver set mentioned, im not sure, but one benefit is the drilling tool in this deal appears to have a smaller profile. The ones I have are great for most jobs around the house, less bulky and I really enjoy using them. I'm glad I have the set I have, but if I needed them, I'd consider pulling the trigger on this. I have seen the other set at $99 quite often though.

Even though this has the pocket driver instead of the normal jacobs chuck drill, its not a bad value. They're effectively the same tool apart from the chuck - both have adjustable torque setting and the same motor. Just need a set of hex-drill bits and you're good to go. I use the standard drill and impact driver pair and would buy them again in an instant.

The main difference between the pocket driver (this kit) and the PS31 drill is you cannot use standard shank drill bits with the pocket driver. Instead you need bits with a hex shank such as these: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../205879024 May not be a big deal but if you've already bought standard shank bits you may or may not want to rebuy. You may also see a little bit of slop using the hex in the pocket driver vs the jacobs chuck.

The driver is mostly useless IMO. Get a drill and impact combo and you're golden.

This impact (+ drill) are my go-to portable set. The brushless drill is significantly more powerful, but these tools will do 80% of home DIY quite nicely.

Bosch has the nicest 12v. By nice, I mean they don't grind, they're quiet, and theyre built for precision.

That's really Bosch's thing. Where others tools are built like a military Hummer, Bosch is more like a Porsche.

I mean, they don't have the best torque, but torque is becoming overkill, and way overrated. And companies keep trying to make torque their selling point. Bosch has great torque on tools that need it. But their nit going to put 500ft/lbs on an impact driver. Lol. It's like most tool companies market to guys with certain... "disadvantages " lol.

However... with Bosch 12v, avoid that orbital sander... ughhh it's horrible. Lol.
Using a paddle bit with these things, and you'll see why you need torque.

The battery is okay but their selection just sucks. I would spend a little more and go with Dewalt or Milwaukee for more tools selections. leaning more towards Milwaukee as their M12 selections are phenomenal.
The Bosch Drill and Impact set is totally worth getting. I used to have 18V Bosch drill and impact driver, and the 12V Bosch drill and impact driver. I recently dove full force into Milwaukee and their drills and impact drivers are complete garbage compared to my Bosch stuff. I am extremely disappointed. The clutch essentially does nothing (actually not essentially, it legit does nothing). I've read that e-clutches just suck apparently? I don't know.

The rest of my Milwaukee stuff I got is pretty good so far, but I am very disappointed with their drills and drivers (both M12 AND M18). Loud, no clutch (at least it feels like it), expensive, and it feels much more difficult to regulate speed as well. Working with wood, especially softer wood, is a nightmare.

Well, first off, calling it a paddle bit, shows your age (or lack of experience) lol.

Secondly... WHY ARE YOU USING A SPADE BIT WITH A 12V TOOL???

I mean, that's like putting tank tred on a Mazda Miata. Lol.

Torque matters, but there's a limit to what a human can handle. And in this day and age, I don't know anyone still using spade bits. I mean, why blow out your workpiece, when you can use a nice auger bit from Woodowl.

I mean, for what you are using it for, the last thing You'd want to do, is have a bunch of shrapnel sticking out the end of the Glorious ½" hole you just bored through the trucks top bathroom stall.

"You'll poke your eye out kid" lol.

I mean, if you're going to get one tool, I'd go with the 18v. But to each their own.

Yeah, Milwaukee is purely torque driven. Their tools are basically tanks. They're meant to be thrown around by day laborers, spray sparks, have the bearings blow out, but still "function".

Personally, I judge people based upon their tools (not by the brand, but by their condition.) A tool is an extension of yourself. If it's covered in 💩, banged up, and beaten to death, then I kn9w their work quality will be ... well... "Good'n'nuff!" Lol.

If their tools are clean, in good shape, but no particularly new then I know they will want perfection (and every dime I have lmmfao... fuhh... seriously. Lol)

The biggest problem with Bosch WAS their batteries. But they fixed them and went from worst to first overnight. So that's better. However, their owners for the NA market are idiots. I picture a room full of Chad's talking about Golf. Not wanting to work, but still make money. Like "If we make these, or come out with this, we will need to work more. I didn't kiss my Father-in-laws ass for 3 years to end up working my life away." Lol.

Bosch had so many amazing tools in testers hands these last 2 years, but their not releasing them. They had 13 new tools set for release by Fall of 2022, but now they're just releasing stupid stuff that Makita already made better versions of this year.

Sorry to rant, but I just really thought Bosch was going to Skyrocket to top spot of the "Big 4" this year (especiallysince Dewalt lowered the quality of their tools so much). But now Bosch is basically like "See you on the 19th Hole, Chad." Lol.

What??? What does that have to do with anything I said? Lol.

Sure, if you're going to have one tool, then an 18v is probably the way to go. But, if you're in a tight spot, a smaller tool would be better. Or, if you aren't "Slammin' 12" lags through oak all day braugh!!!! 🤙🤙🤙" then a 12v is fine.

But seriously... lay off the sauce. Hahaaaaa.

This past weekend I used a 3/4" spade bit in my 12volt Bosh to drill multiple holes through 4 layers of 2x to run electrical wire in the garage with no issues. It worked great because I couldn't find my right angle drill and I was in tight against the roof line. 'm brand agnostic - I've got Milwaukee, Dewalt, Panasonic and Bosch cordless tools. I usually reach for my 12v Bosch for most things involving drilling and driving since they are small, light and have fine controls. The batteries can be harder to remove than the M12 which can be a bit if bitch at times. If I need more power I'll move to another tool.
