It's amazeling!
Do people often buy stuff for Buy Nothing requests? As a parent, it's a pet peeve of mine when the grandparents take all the kids stuff from Buy Nothing, so their grandkids can use it once a week. Us working parents don't have time to stalk Buy Nothing all day and usually don't get dibs on anything.

I always bought the $1ish packs, but one time I found Crayola mark down even cheaper (I can't remember the price, but less than $1 I believe). Crayola is much better. It goes on the concrete much smoother, giving a much better look using less of the stick. With that said, I still will buy the cheaper stuff most of the time, as my kids don't care. But if I could find deals on Crayola, I'd definitely consider getting them instead. But for anyone who cares about actually doing good looking chalk art, I'd say ignore the cheap stuff and go with Crayola.
Totally agree, at the rate my kids break the chalk into pieces. I get less irritated with the $1 chalk vs crayola
I will say that with regular use, the Crayola does hold up better and lasts longer. But if your kids are just grinding them in and breaks them a lot, then it probably doesn't matter.
