for the last 1.5 months I have been trying to get my greenworks 60v mower repaired.
it took them 3 weeks to answer me and they directed me to a repair center,
I called in before taking the mower there, they said they cancelled their contract with greenworks because greenworks does not supply necessary parts to repair
greenworks said they are immediately sending a replacement mower and it should reach within 10 days
after a few days i contacted them and asked for a tracking number for the replacement
they said they have no 60v mowers available and they sent me another repair center which is 1 hour drive from my house.
they are clearly not an honest company just FYI

Good price but they constantly switch battery formats even within the same voltage. For their 40V tools there's the old non-GMAX batteries, the GMAX, and somehow a 3rd kind of 40V batteries that are different than the GMAX. They are not compatible with each other's tools and chargers. Maybe someone with experience with their 24V line can chime in, but I'm always weary of tools that for no reason become obsolete because you can't get batteries for them anymore within a couple of years.

And then onto the voltage itself... there's 24V, and this one that combines 2 24V to make up 48V, there's the 40V, 60V, and 80V.

Additional 10% mailing list signup stacks, as well as free 4ah 24v battery added to cart. Seems hard to pass up now.

20" oos. Scary reviews. Terrible customer service.
Extra battery is great, but it needs 2 to run. Screw it. I'm going to just use my 15 old gas beast until it dies.

I'm having a hard time finding out why someone would go with the 17" over the 20"? Anyone have any thoughts?

20" steel deck 17" plastic

the 60v line has steel decks and a much nicer handle system.

60v line along with Ryobi cross cut are built better and almost equal to the EGO line. greenworks having the edge in 60v since like kobalt lineup they have a fan in the charger and also air flow holes. Ryobi doesn't.

My experience is the TOOL itself has very few issues most of the time the failure is a safety sensor.

KEEP your batteries inside not in a garage. lithium batteries don't do well in extreme heat or extreme cold.

ALL of these battery packs use 18650 cells just like ecigs, laptops, etc. DIfferent quality cells are used to hit price points. IE Milwaukee & Ryobi are the same company yet Milwaukee batteries have better quality CELLS.

inside every battery are the cells and a circuit board(bms) when the battery fails ITs almost always the CELLS & rarely the board.

Once I got my Craftsman 60V, my neighbors started getting electric mowers too. Gotta keep up with the Jones 😂

Man, I paid $320 for the 20' 48v mower with two 5ah batteries and drill at the end of January. Really wish I could of got in on this deal and saved $120. Frown Such is the pain of slick deals sometimes…..
btw, it has been a great mower so far. Time will tell how it holds up, but so far I'm really happy with how easy it is and what a nice cut it does. The two 5ah batteries are just enough to do my small yard front back and sides. The standing feature is nice. Takes up about the size of a normal vacuum cleaner in my garage.
*just realized this deal is for the push mower, not the self propelled one, which mine is. Knowing what I know now though of how easy it is to push vs using the self propelled, I woulda still have preferred this one especially at this price. Anyone of reasonable health can push one of these no problem.

Can anyone tell me how long the battery lasts? Can I finish a 2000sqft lawn on a single charge?

Run forest!! It says 45min runtime .. so I'd expect 30min worst case. Do you think you can do the yard in 30min .. if not get another battery and you'll have a backup set for 60min battery time

I would go 60v and above. Higher runtime and access to more power hungry tools like a snow blower.
