Either way, this is a mediocre PSU and should not be front page for being $80.
If anyone is curious, the MWE V1 had a lot of bad reviews. Complaints of DOA and dead units after six months. So this is presumably why they introduced MWE V2. There are not a lot of reviews for V2. This one review I read thoroughly tested the MWE V2 and it had headroom of 200W for the 750W version.
It will but you will end up smoking it
Worth the risk to get the extra 100 W over this deal: https://slickdeals.net/f/15668809-corsair-rmx-series-rm750x-750-watt-80-gold-fully-modular-power-supply-79-free-shipping
Both are great

This is for my "daily driver" PC to replacing the aging 750 Bronze that's in it right now. Seeing a little bit of the back and forth in here, my opinion is that I have zero hesitation running this in my mid-range everyday PC, but I wouldn't trust this thing in a proper gaming rig. When it comes to PSU, I always going a bit over and above my calculated need. So, if an 850 Gold is about the right calculation, I'd go with somewhere between an 850 Platinum to a 1000 Gold.
Just make sure you're calculating your PSU needs properly first. No sense buying a 1500 Platinum if you're building a machine for doing spreadsheets and watching YouTube.
Gospower also manufactures Cooler Master's SFX line as well.
