Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

ime the 3g speed TMO sets is throttled way lower than 600kps, sometimes spec minimum of 144k

can't even watch 480 youtube vids

I put my Mobley sim in a Netgear Nighthawk and it worked awesomely. Assuming you could do the same with the t-mobile sim and it performed similarly, it would be cheaper than Mobley. Thoughts?

I suppose we won't know until someone tries. I know ATT is far less finicky than TMO about their data SIM's versus devices, though...the old iPad plan SIM also functioned fine in a Velocity hotspot, for example.

You can call them ask them to convert your account to sole propritory plan and you can add $10 tablett plan. I did exactly the same and it was done within 30 mins. My existing plan ONE PLUS PROMO still exist with max lines and 2 new tablet lines added with free tablets for $10 each and I just paid taxes on the tablet. Good luck.
