They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)
Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.
So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Wow 30 on fast.com I am getting only 6 which does give me 1080p with that speed they must have added 4k pass. Just wondering what others who have successfully added the HD Pass is getting on fast.com. Post your results!
I called again and got a Tech Support agent who was able to add it to my plan.
I provided the agent with the soc code (HDVPass0) and he was able to add after 5-10 mins.
Getting 6 to 6.5 Mbps on fast.com now.

It took about 2 hours and much frustration to get this deal in-store today, but I finally got it.
Things to know:
My EIN did not work, my rep was directed to manual verification where they wanted things I didn't have like an electric bill in the business name. Ended up just using my SSN.
Got through the whole process finally only to find that the tax-inclusive (TI) plan was NOT an option, only the tax-exclusive (TE). The tablet also could not be purchased this way. Even the manager couldn't/wouldn't help.
I almost walked away but the rep finally tried adding a voice line, which opened up the TI SOC option. He then removed the voice line and it was able to process as a stand-alone TI tablet line SOC.
After the line was processed, we then added on the A7 tablet as a separate transaction (you don't have to get it if you don't want to).
So, long story short, if they tell you TI plan is not available, have them pretend to add a voice line and then remove it. And if you want the tablet, do it as a separate transaction after the line. Hope this helps someone have a 10 minute transaction instead of 2+ hours.
just looking for the easiest way
I just inserted the sim card and viola!
As far as speed is concerned, I really can't give a definite number at the moment.
I can explain this way, I live in a small town about 65 miles southwest of Chicago. I don't know of anyone in the area who uses T-Mobile. I tried T-Mobile internet when it first came out. I return it the same day because I could not get a good connection. Same address, with this router, I am getting data of 15mb/s down and 5-7mb/s up. Like I said, I don't really have a good signal from home. I want this so when I'm on the road. I expect the speed to increase significantly.
I tested the unit in my home. I connected my PC, tablet, 2 phones and watched Netflix, YouTube and Philo without any problems.
Now, if I could only figure out if it's using data or hotspot ????

If you stay in mostly large cities, you should be fine. But don't expect much while driving to and from cities.
