They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)
Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.
So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

As far as speed is concerned, I really can't give a definite number at the moment.
I can explain this way, I live in a small town about 65 miles southwest of Chicago. I don't know of anyone in the area who uses T-Mobile. I tried T-Mobile internet when it first came out. I return it the same day because I could not get a good connection. Same address, with this router, I am getting data of 15mb/s down and 5-7mb/s up. Like I said, I don't really have a good signal from home. I want this so when I'm on the road. I expect the speed to increase significantly.
I tested the unit in my home. I connected my PC, tablet, 2 phones and watched Netflix, YouTube and Philo without any problems.
Now, if I could only figure out if it's using data or hotspot ????
You need a T-Mobile cell close by. See cellmapper.com. Once you get to where you can select your cell for T-Mobile; if it's a good one there will be a top most cell report on the left.
If you trick the system onto the highest speeds they will eventually not let you keep those speeds with this plan!
Most folks will get 7mbs average (until throttling you and that is NOT just priority!) average.
And as stated this is about 1.5mbs for streaming. And you will not trick around that for long.
Note: I thought antitrust day was very relevant to this deal; but got a warning for posting the address.

As long as there's an option to select "4G/LTE" for the WAN, it will use the RNDIS driver to connect through USB to get the internet connection to the hotspot/device.
