Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

The m2000 is a t-mobile branded device by inseego that allows 5g data via hotspot. A "hack" or custom FW is required to mask the usage of such device to t-mobile and allow your account to remain active without detection as t-mobile does not intend for this plan to be used as an unlimited hotspot plan. It's true that you can't order a separate line from the T-Mobile Business website, yes, but if you start with a tablet, THEN pick the promo line... you should be able to do that. If not, then wait until you return to the US.... hopefully the promo will still be available, or do what the person above me suggested about contacting via Twitter chat.

But it still requires to have HD video stream to activate in order to have that 5G streaming. is it not?

To my knowledge, no. My understanding is that once the m2000 has the modified FW, it will treat all data as general on device data. T-mobile can not tell if you are streaming YT @ 4k or browsing a forum..... I did call T-mobile however the night I got the line and the 1st rep. in the tech support dept. added it np. I figure this way I can use the sim in my m2000, tablet or whatever device I prefer.

I called Tmobile Business to open an account, and they said that due to my LLC's credit history (no credit history) I'd have to pay $72 for the tablet and I'd get $3 refunded to my bill monthly over 24 months.

I was wondering if anyone ran into something like that and if there's a way around it.

I can't do nothing with business online account except viewing bills and make payment. T-Mobile reps told me business account online ordering function had been disabled for all business accounts, the only way to make order which is to contact them or visit a store.

When I login my T-Mobile online account, it shows promos of regular T-Mobile site which is different from business site promos.
